One of the few great Ny style pizzas! Would highly recommend! My favorite is grandmas pizza or pep and sausage!!! Only really complaint is guys could be a little more friendlier but I really go for the great food!

Ugh ! Ordered eggplant parmigiana w/spaghetti– was awful. Eggplant was mushy and flavorless. Spaghetti was too soft and sauce was light red and sweet. Took 50 minutes to have delivered — think I’ll pass next time.

Great food! They’re pizza is phenomenal. Order a pepperoni and garlic pizza with a side of ranch and thank me later!

We love ordering from A N.Y. Slice. The owner Marco is wonderful and always helpful. We have only had the pizza and steak and cheese subs, but would love to try a meal soon. We also have only done takeout.

I love NY style pizza. I don’t want to drive from Midlo to Carytown to get it(though Mary Angela’s is delicious!) A NY Slice fits the bill. Great sauce, good prices, good ingredients. And, if you’re not feeling like pizza, their subs are a good deal and are delicious, too. I’ve only ever gotten food to go, so I can’t comment on the service at the location. Worth it. Good stuff!

Best in town. Only not giving it 5 stars because they have to know how busy they will be and staff/plan/add accordingly so waits are not so outrageous!!!

I have searched. Everywhere for an authentic thin crust New York style pizza. My boyfriend(transplant from NJ) love A.N.Slice! The food is on point they are fast and accurate. The servers are friendly and all have great personalities. I recommend this establishment to everyone.

More than lives up to the name. For those who know real NY pizza, like Original Rays in the Village, this hit on all cylinders. If you’re looking for arugula-gorgonzola-prosciutto look elsewhere, but if you want a solid pie with with well-made crust and quality toppings, look no further. I just had Grandma’s special: garlic-white sauce with roasted tomatoes. Awesome!

Definitely. not. N.Y. pizza. The crust is crunchy and chewy like NY pizza, I’ll give them that. We ordered a mushroom, green pepper and olive pizza and was surprised the ingredients were not fresh! Canned mushrooms and green peppers which made for a soggy pizza. Looked back on the menu ro find that fresh veggies were a specialty topping! ?Very disappointed. I’ll try again at another time and order FRESH vegetables. Also needed more sauce. Before I «pan» a place, I always give it a second chance. The place was very busy, so maybe they were hiding a secret. The price was right. Check out the coupons! I agree with Scott Midlothian is a pizza desert. We’re in search of authentic New York pizza. Anyone?

I would give them no stars but it is not a option. Called and placed a order for delivery received my order and it was incomplete. Called back and spoke with a «manager» and I was told that every home in the United States has ketchup in it and even homes in Italy did as well. The manager refused to give me his name and finally he said his name was Marco, not sure if that’s true or not. However extremely rude refused to refund my money called me stupid, literally. The«manager» acknowledged the order was incomplete and wrong and that he would not do anything to fix it. Never have I dealt with such rude service were not only was I told I was«poor» and that I could not be given the name of who I was speaking with. I have already contacted nbc12 with this info and working on filling a complaint with the BBB.

By far the best Pizza on this side of the river, as a NYer this place beats any on this side of town. Sals a great guy and I love his attitude towards these wanna be snoots who think they know their pizza.

A fair attempt at an authentic New York style pizza, and may be the best you can get in the great pizza desert that is Midlothian, but close in no way to the best in Richmond. Try Belmont Pizzeria and you’ll start making the trip from Midlothian to the Fan for the best.

I usually get the pizza, so that’s really all I can review at this time. This is one of the few places I am aware of that sells its pizza by the slice and I greatly appreciate that. You can mix and match pizza with different toppings. You pay when you enter and choose what you want then. They heat the pizza for you so you get hot pizza in just a couple of minutes. The soda is self-serve and you can get refills. The only quibble is that the pepperoni and sausage pizza are quite greasy, but I usually soak up the extra grease with a napkin. Some people like their meat pizza greasy, but I don’t. Otherwise, excellent.

The pizza was pretty darn good. The best NY style slices I’ve had in Richmond thus far. The customer service is just blah. I went after lunch around 2pm and I had to literally peek around the corner to signal the cashier to wait on me. Other than that, I just come for the cheese slices. Will go back again for more pizza.

I had this pizza the first time after helping someone move. I am not a pizza lover but was impressed enough to order it for myself. Pizza is good. Sandwiches are good but their pasta is HORRIBLE! Mushy and very overcooked. Twice. Will NEVER order pasta from them again. Too bad too because their sauce is yummy.

First time ordering but really enjoyed it. Could stand to be a bit crispier to be NY style but they probably do that for the region they’re in. Great toppings, nice guy on the phone and very courteous delivery guy.

As a transplanted New Yorker who moved to the west end area about 2 weeks ago i had heard of this place for about a year from my two best friends who already live in the area. obviously had to try it. Place was pretty spot on for New York pizza. The ONLY thing i could see them doing different is a little more crunch on the crust but i wont stiff the review for a simple thing like that. I’ve been to a couple places around this is clearly the best by a LONG shot. If you want New York style pizza, come here.

I usually like coming in to A NY Slice, but my last visit left a sour taste in my mouth. We got there at 9:00 and they close at 10. We ordered our food and the clerk was rude. When we said we were dining in, the clerk said«I’m how my manager will feel sure about that because we are closing soon.» To which we replied… «Don’t you close at 10?» The clerk said«yeah but all the other shops are closed.» After that the service continued to go down hill with the attitude and rudeness. They were more concerned with watching basketball then being courteous. We took our pizza and left. I like the food but the staff is absolutely horrible.

I can’t comment about the comment about the canned vegetables and frozen spinach. I wouldn’t let any of that stuff my pizza even if the Jolly Green Giant picked them from the field and wanted to put them on my pizza himself. Now to the actual review, sorry veggie lovers! The place looks pretty decent inside, most everything seems to be in good shape and the bathrooms were pretty clean and well maintained. We got one small pizza and and a couple slices as well. The good: No cornmeal on the bottom of the pizza(I hate that) Nice thin crust, little floppy but lends itself well to the fold and eat or the pick up the whole plate technique. Capri Suns available in the fridge for kids. The bad: Could use a little more crunch/char on the bottom. Overall it is just about what I expected. If I’m in the area and wanted a quick slice or place to stop by with the kids, I would probably stop by here.

I love this place. I love NY style pizza, I have had a few versions around here– but the sauce always leaves much to be desired. Good crust, good cheese, sauce delicious. Note: If you crave lots of toppings and sauce– you may want to pick somewhere else. This is NY style pizza, the only way to have it is cheese, or only 1 or 2 toppings. Pick a Chicago-style place if you want a deep pie.
