King Pin Lanes Midlothian

Ive been here 2x and have no complaints. Cheaper and not as crowded as other newer fancier bowling alleys in the area. Thats a plus for me. Fast and friendly service. Always having nice specials and deals. Often found on groupon. They play good music during cosmic bowling. Clean. Could use more parking.

I have never had a worse time at a bowling alley. Two stars might even be pushing it, but I’m usually too nice. For starters, this place is dirty. Sticky tables galore. In addition, it’s just not kept up aesthetically. The benches near the lanes were all torn, and the one across from us was completely missing the fabric. The shoes I received had multiple holes, loose threads and tears. The amount they charge is not worth it for how unattractive and unclean the place is… And they could atleast use that extra money to purchase some newer shoes once they have pairs falling apart.
On top of this, my family had a less than pleasant experience with the concessions. At the beginning of two games, we orders mini corn dogs and fries. After waiting for about 25 min, my mom went to check on them and the man behind the desk said he was the only one working concessions, and he couldn’t leave the register if people were in line ordering things, so he couldn’t get started on any of the food yet. Once the food was ready, my sister picked up the corn dogs and asked where the fries were. He took the receipt from her and said he’d put it in again, yet 30 minutes later we were still fry-​less and had already finished bowling. Such a joke.

King Pin is a really standard bowling alley, no frills at all. I went the other day to kill some time with one round and it was pretty fun. They don’t have the technology that other Richmond bowling alleys have, but you can still have a good time. I just wasn’t super impressed with the cleanliness.

Great time, good lanes, good deals– liked the food and size of the pitchers. Only complaint is when midlo bites is not open– have to wait in a crazy slow line to get a beer.

Great place to bowl… just don’t look around and make sure to wash your hands! I have been here numerous times and it goes down each time I go. Today I went with my family and the landscape outside was awful! Trash everywhere! Broken glass bottles and the trash can at the entrance was overflowing! Inside the chairs at the desk were ripped, there was a broken off dead plant beside the front desk, and it took the workers quite some time to help us. Then, there was no balls to be found! Because they were all piled up in the Lanes that weren’t being used anymore! Along with numerous tables with food and trash piled on them from previous guests! Overall, I was very grossed out and bowled my games and left! Beware! It’s gross!

Started out as a disaster. They advertised a special on their Facebook page, the 1−2−3−4 football package. Upon arrival on the starting day of the so called package the man at the front desk, who we later learned was the manager, seemed to know little or nothing about it, this special mind you was posted on their page a day prior to our arrival. I showed him the post which advertised 1 dollar hot dogs, 2 dollar games and shoes, 3 dollar burgers and 4 dollar draft beer. He did honor the cost of the game but when we went to purchase our food it was a whole different story. I do have to say the two girls working the snack bar handled the situation very professionally and were extremely courteous and sweet. All and all the experience was good and we would definitely go back again. I just think they need better communication between whom ever posts on the Facebook page and the actual people who work there. It also could use some renovating, the rugs are dirty and chairs have ripped upholstery. The bathrooms were clean.

Very fun and love the night lights and Root Beer!!! I also like the music, and sometimes the deals are better than AMF. It’s open until 2am on the weekends. Good place to party it up!!!

My family and I love bowling at Kingpin. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. It is not a fancy bowling alley, but has everything you need for a fun time. There is an arcade and great beer list, too!
If you bring a child to bowl, you need to ask the front desk for a kid’s ball. They don’t keep them with the other house balls. You can also ask them to put up the bumpers for the kids.
The food here is not great, but hey, it’s a bowling alley. The bathrooms are always clean… but sometimes the toilet paper isn’t replaced quickly, so make sure you check before you sit down.
Some of the rental shoes are pretty badly worn, too.
