Our go to pizza place, We always get the Pie Combo which is a tasty piece but also like the pull aparts & garlic bread. This will be the best pizza place you will find in Utah.

You can never go wrong with a slice of Pizza, side salad, and a PBR for $ 7.00! I want to swim in a vat of their ranch.

I give 4 stars because the food was hot and the quality is top notch. I’m a fan, but wish the service was better.

Everyone loves this place. Best pizza ever. My favorite is the Buffalo chicken pizza but even plain cheese with gouda added on is delicious. Cheesy bread and salads are good as well. There is a dark kind of grungy vibe to each location which in my opinion is cool. Give it a try

Decided to drop by from being on a road trip in the summer 2015. This place is tha bomb. Vegan heaven. Ordered vegan cheesy bread and vegan calzone pie thing. They are very generous with the cheese for the best price(with generous portions). My girlfriend and I were just full from eating the cheesy bread itself; the calzone hadn’t even finish yet! Had to take it to go and eat it the next day for lunch. Couldn’t believe how good it was. I dream about coming back to this place, sometimes even coming to SLC from CA just for the pizza. No where else in CA have I tried vegan pizza/calzone like this. If I ever am in SLC, UT again, this would be the place I would eat at, lunch and dinner. Would drive 12hours to come back. Thanks Pie Pizzeria.

My favorite pizza place. I love their Thai as well as their Chichen Ranch pizza. Their calzones are awesome too. There is plenty of parking.

I’ve ordered the breadsticks and cheese breadsticks that are the size of a pizza(literally) and come with dipping sauces like ranch and marinara. They’re actually so good and super filling and incredibly cheap for what you get. I’ve also ordered the meatball sub and a pepperoni calzone from here before and the sandwich comes with a bag of chips and pickles, which I loved. The calzone, however, was way too much bread and just not very good. The food is very consistent and always piping hot. I’ve never had an issue with the taste being different or anything burnt and the servers are generally nice. I’ve also ordered their specialty pizza with the buffalo chicken as well as just a regular pizza and this is where the food gets really greasy. It’s almost impossible to eat more than maybe one or two slices because it gets to be a little nauseating eating all the oil. I’ve tried using the napkin dab but it doesn’t help much. I usually just opt for the breadstick thing or their other dishes.

The pizza is good but it can be pretty greasy. I always get the small cheese because its huge and ten bucks and totally enough for 3 people! The chicken pizzas are usually a hit with my family also. But lets talk about these cheese pull a parts. They just get me, ya know? Also what is in their ranch because it’s like crack. Crack sauce for cheese bread heck yes sign me up. People working the counter are nice and the seating is cute and divey. Tonight(a Thursday) we ordered takeout and there was live music. Basically some dude with a guitar but he was pretty good. I’ve never ordered delivery from there so I can’t comment on that. If you have a pizza craving that’s a littleeeee bit more gourmet than normal the pie is a good choice! Remember kids, Crack is whack and also illegal but the pie has delicious ranch that is legal so win win

I never liked the Pie’s giant pizzas as I always found them to be greasy, but as I have been working on eating better, I found the amazing Vegan Veggie Zappi that they serve and I am so happy that they have a healthy option for someone who wants that amazing umami sensation that good pizza gives you without the cost to health. I am definitely coming back!

I have been a lover of the pie, as convenient as the downtown location is. I relocated to midvale a few months ago, and was needing my «pie fix». Called to order two delicious large culivary master pieces, and was shut down. I live on the frontage road next to the freeway. 440 west. It’s east of the freeway. Apparently their midvale location only delivers to 400 west. South Jordan only delivers west of the freeway… so I guess the whole apartment complex I live in cant order a pizza for delivery??? Come on guys… an extra block to keep your customer ordering?! Thoroughly disappointed…

My husband and I have been ordering from The Pie in Midvale since 2012. While most of the service we have received from this location has been excellent there has been times were it was not up to par and one incident that almost stopped us from returning. But we find ourselves coming back just for the food and the good service we know they are capable of. The food has always been spot on(minus this one seasonal pizza we decided to try. cordon bleu. bleh not for us). We love the cheesy garlic bread, chicken ranch pizza is always a favorite and don’t get me started about their ranch. I honestly wish they sold them in bottles. Chipotle for my husband and regular ranch for me. It just enhances the pizza for us.

My favorite pizza. I go with the 23″ classic pepperoni and cheese pull a parts. A couple sides of ranch for dipping and a great time is to be had. The Midvale location is great. Easy in and out and no parking issues as seen at the U location. I hit up the Pie every time I’m in Utah.

We ordered 4 pizzas and cheese pull-a-parts. This place has great tasting crust and they normally use high quality ingredients. The good: Mountain of meat pizza Holy Shiitake pizza Cheese pull-a-part The so-so: Chicken ranch
The Bad The Greek pizza This place is a bit on the high price scale for what you get. I will continue to frequent this place and remembering to add reviews.

We won’t be back. My pregnant wife had a craving for a pizza parlor type pizza. I haven’t been to the Pie in awhile and it will be forever until we go back. First off, WAY too expensive for what you get. $ 40 for 3 topping medium pizza, 2 side salads and 6 buffalo wings??? No service to speak of. You have to get up to order, pick up your food and get drinks, plates and utensils. Too much cheese and the toppings, for the most part, are underneath the aforementioned mountain of cheese. Side note: We had leftovers and we brought them home, but threw them out as neither of us wanted them. Just don’t bother. For good pizza parlor type pizza, go to Maxwells, Este’s or the like.

Beware! They put crack in the pizza sauce. It’s addictive and causes euphoria. Nearly perfect crust and sauce. Seemingly endless array of interesting toppings. Killer ranch dressing. And a chill, nice staff. THE place for pizza in the Salt Lake Valley.

This location fails to raise my blood pressure metaphorically. Physically yes, metaphorically no. I hate the layout and trying to fight off a Mormon family of 8 to get a place to sit is almost enough to send me on a mass murdering rampage. And I did not find the service particularly fast or efficient. They called me Janet after I spelled out my name. J-A-N-A. Where in the world does an NA make an ET sound. In any case, it’s not horrible, but I’d avoid this location if you can. Stick to the U campus for reals. And leave your stupid family at home for the love of Christ.

The worst pizza I ever ate in my life!!! We were a group of 4 we had the cheese pull apart, Hawaiian pizza and a pepperoni, we each had a slice and a piece of the cheese pull apart and we all came to the conclusion that it was simply horrible. We didn’t even take the rest home… Dough is undercooked, sauce is too acidic, cheese pull apart needed more cheese.

Don’t know why I can do a half star… Any way, no one talks about the thin crust… If you want bread and dipping sauce, get hand tossed… Nothing against the hand tossed. But no one talks about or reviews the thin crust??? I I am a topping and cheese lover, sauce too… The right amount of sauce though… A happy medium… If you want PLENTY of CHEESE and ample toppings with less crust, order the thin crust pizza!!! Really .! Have had pizza from east to west coast. I think I have only named 1 or 2 pizzas in a top 10… This has to be DAMND! Close to the top 5… Yes there is «grease» Do you want real pizza? Or veggie Cali stuff!!! Ample Cheese and toppings with the thin crust…, MMMmmm!!! Cheeeesse! Only live once!!!

i just discovered this place has gluten free pizza and immediately placed a carry out order. i use to go here all the time in college(yep down those dark scary stairs) and being back brought back some fun memories. i ordered from the midvale location and it was ready in about 20 minutes. i got the gluten free bacon ranch chicken(the most amazing pizza ever!) and it was just as yummy as i remember it! i am so happy that i now have a pizza place that i can go to regularly without worrying about being sick. i also ordered the cheese pull a part gluten free. i was actually disappointed when i first saw it since it was so flat(it should be really fluffy), but i understand since it is gluten free the texture is different. it still tasted good, but wasn’t the same. so i would skip on this next time. i did enjoy using the ranch and marinara sauce to dip my crust in — it is too good! overall this place is awesome and i plan on being a regular again!
