This place is the best! Everything is delicious and well made. Not some gross reheated stuff, everything is fresh. I would and will always pick this place over any other Italian place around.

This place is authentic so if u like Americanized Italian, then this place isn’t for you! The meat sauce was very delicious and the portions to price ratio is worth the visit. You won’t leave hungry!

The food was ok. I was skeptical walking in because I really don’t like frozen/heated up Italian. And I really wanted Gnocci but it wasn’t on the menu. I had the pepperoni calzone and it was pretty good. It was full of cheese! I only ate half of it at lunch but it was good heated up for dinner too. I was so stuffed from lunch I didn’t get a chance to try their varied dessert menu but it all looked delicious.

I have had the calzone and the chicken cordon bleu. The sauce on the cordon bleu was excellent, it was their house mix of marinara and alfredo and I loved it. The calzone was fresh made and they were able to add whatever I requested to it. I have had the salad with house dressing both times, a tomato vinaigrette. I would also consider it to be excellent and I’ve attempted to replicate it at home.

Absolutely the best restaurant I’ve been in 10 years I loved and I’ve tasted almost everything on the menu. It is the best place to go in del City.

Didt like the food at all. I was there with my family. We ordered eggplant parm, chicken marsala and salmon. Non of us liked the food. We bought some cheesecake hoping to have at least a good desert, but nope. U could buy a better one at Walmart. Would never go back. They charge as of its a restraint.

Just getting over a cold and was really wanting Italian food. Didn’t want to go very far from home and found this little place to order take out. The portions was large for me, even with me getting over a cold. The calamari was delicious and they gave a lot. The main dish came with a side salad and all I could eat was the calamari and the salad. I ordered the veal marsala and it was also delicious. Food was rounded out with some awesome bread. I will be coming back to this place

I like the pizza and calzones here quite a bit. In general the pasta with red sauce is pretty good, I usually get the baked ziti with sausage. The pasta is made fresh, and on occasion it’s been over cooked. I’m not super impressed with the Alfredo sauce though. And the house dressing is a catastrophe… Just don’t. Service is decent, the dining room is cheaply furnished, and the music sucks. I normally wouldn’t comment on the music at a restaurant but I swear it’s been the same CD on repeat every time I’ve been in there. I know there’s a lot of seemingly negative things in a 3 star review, but the pasta is great when the right cook is in the kitchen and pizza, as mentioned before is outstanding. Give it a try.

Family/casual dining style, clean, friendly service, no wait for seating on the occasions we’ve gone here. Food is very good, and good value for the money. The food is also much more authentic than a lot of other local Italian venues.

I hate even giving them one star. The manager has an «I don’t care attitude» when food is sent back.

This place is awesome. My wife and I eat there every Wednesday night while our kids go to switch at life church. Food is wonderful and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that loves Italian.

Considering what other Italian restaurants there are in this area, this is one of the better ones. I’ve been here several times and the food has mostly been very good. I like their breads. In general I feel they way over-sauce their pastas, and I like mine sauced, but it shouldn’t look like pasta soup. I like their meatballs, which is how I primarily judge any Italian restaurant and theirs is at the top of the list. The calamari was the best I’ve ever had anywhere, on my last visit. I don’t remember being quite as impressed with it before, but man, it was spot on this time. It was perfectly battered and fried and not rubbery at all. They need a kids menu with pictures. We took my 5yo nephew last time and he didn’t know what anything was when I tried to explain the kids menu. Most kids don’t know what anything but«p’sketti» is without pictures. They don’t have the typical chicken strips and mac-n-cheese here for kids, just pasta, pictures would help.

Great Italian food, restaurant is quite surprising when you walk in from the outside. I’ve had several of the pasta dishes, pizzas, and they’re all tasty!

Service was good our waitress was AWSOME !! The atmosphere was good. However, the food was terrible. My husband ordered the shrimp scampi. It was soupy and the shrimp were rubbery. We will not go back.

Allow me to offer a piece of unsolicited advice: Life is too short to settle for mediocre experiences, and that is true no matter where you are on the economic ladder. I’ve been lucky enough to find myself now firmly entrenched in the middle class, and I’m happy to report that I have a better time saving up money and spending it on a few truly memorable experiences instead of spending little bits here and there on stuff or on a weekend getaway. So if I consider some place to be a «three-star» experience, I will not go back — not when there are so many better places to visit. I’d rather go to a 5-star place once a month than a 3-star place every week. (And yes, I know that you have to judge places based on what they’re trying to be – 5-star does not automatically equal expensive.) I begin with that diatribe so I can point out that under normal circumstances, my perfectly average meal at Venezia a few months ago means that while I’d wish anyone well who wanted to visit, I personally would not be going back. I broke this general rule because a coworker of mine was leaving us, and wanted to go there, and when your coworker picks a place, you shut up and go. I’m very sad to report that I should have followed my general rule, because lunch during my second visit was a disaster. We shared a calamari appetizer that seemed to be composed primarily of salt, seasoned with a dash of rubber which I presume was calamari. I ordered eggplant because Julie said it was good there, and when Julie speaks, I listen. I see now Julie was referring to a different Venezia location, so that’s my fault and Julie’s impeccable reputation remains intact. Our waitress(who was unfailingly pleasant and hardworking, singlehandedly earning the second star for Venezia) brought out the first fourteen or so dishes to everyone, but mine was missing. After reminding her what I ordered, the kitchen was able to locate my dish and brought it to me. I stirred my sauce(bubbling with heat), cut a piece of eggplant-stuffed pasta, and bit in. And I realized that the kitchen had been defrosting pre-made food and hadn’t reheated this dish long enough, because my sauce was bubbling hot and the eggplant inside was ice freaking cold. It was a truly horrifying sensation that immediately and completely ended my lunch. I knew things were going south when I mentioned it to our waitress, and without batting an eye, she asked if she could take it back so they could microwave it for me. So there you have it. Informally polling my coworkers, I could see things were not good. As one coworker put it, «I am reasonably sure that was the worst Italian food I have ever had.» I’m sure they are trying hard, and the staff seemed to be doing the best they could, but the only way a place like this is going to work is if they can drum up enough business from folks who aren’t willing to venture out of Midwest City. It’s a big, competitive Oklahoma City metro area, and this ain’t gonna cut it.

You may know Venezia from their NW Expressway location but there is a second location as well. It has good old fashioned Italian food and a wide selection. I tried the lobster ravioli and was very pleased with it. They also had a pretty good Italian bread. The inside is no where near glamorous but the people are very pleasant and it’s quiet too. I went here for a group meeting and it was perfect!
