Here’s an update on my first review. THEREWEREGREAT! Whoever answered the phone was very nice, she may have been out the day I called and got the«not so friendly» person. either way, I got great service. My replacement item came in just as promised. They also called me to tell me the difference in the shipping price that I requested. Awesome work Tack Room. I will order from them again.

The Tack Room is the best place I’ve ever found with reasonable prices, wonderful staff and the widest selection of clothes and tack. I love taking my children there for event shopping or just to look and see what’s new, and there’s always something new every time we go. The staff has always been wonderful with helping us find the perfect fit with clothing, boots and accessories. I love telling friends about the finds and urge them to go or take them along when we go. Many many thanks to the Tack Room for meeting our needs every time we visit. Already planning to go back soon

I love this store. They have everything you would need for your equestrian activities, whether you enjoy western or english discipline. Also, they have a knowledgeable and friendly staff who always welcome you to the store with a smile. I have worked with Eva, who is a great lady to talk to about styles, fit and options for you or your horse. This store is definitely one of this town’s hidden gems! I also appreciate that they have a great return policy so if something doesn’t fit my horse or isn’t the right size or style, they will take it back, no questions asked. They are an all around great store with a great local reputation. I have been to other tack stores and The Tack Room Inc. is head and shoulders above the others that I have visited.

We’re big supporters of the equestrian industry and that’s why it’s so disappointing to see a company fall so far short. These folks actually had the gall to agree to accept a return, held it for over a month before then refusing to accept it and then told us we had to pay for shipping to get it back. The explanation: ‘We’re not Wal-mart.” I guess not. Wal-mart’s classier. Will never buy anything from these folks again which, looking at the other reviews, puts me in good company.

Worst, worst, Customer Service I have ever had with an online store! I ordered three horse blankets for three little girls in three different colors. They were offering a free 3-day shipping promo that I qualified for and I was excited as they would get here in time for Christmas. Two days after my order they call me to tell me that two of the blankets I ordered were not in stock and would I like to choose different colors. I said no as the little girls are very specific about the colors they wear. I asked that they send me the one they had in stock, and that because it was their error, I would like them to honor the 3-day shipping. Absolutely NOT! Seriously? It went way downhill from there. First they told me I was being unreasonable because I wouldn’t just choose different colors; then they told me that if the blanket were more expensive they might have considered honoring the free shipping; and then the owner/manager actually berated me for waiting until the 15th of December to place a Christmas order. So insulting me on top of really bad customer service. I will never order from there again and I am happy to share this experience so others will know what to expect when shopping there.

I ordered 2 pairs of galloping boots from here about 9 months ago. They told me it would be back ordered but should arrive in about 3 – 4 weeks. 9MONTHS! Many phone calls to them, guess what? NOREPLY! Never ordering from this place again!!! I want my boots or my money back! I would give it less than one star if I could.

So I bought a rug online that appeared to be green. When it arrived, it was white. I spent $ 450 on this rug. I returned it UPS paying $ 150 for shipping. When I advised Eva at the Tack Room that the color was wrong, it was misleading, and they should reimburse my shipping, she told me no. Very poor business practice. Will not be shopping there in the future

Since we lesson in light to moderate rain whenever it happens, I have been looking for a rain coat for riding. I found the Goode Rider Storm Jacket, but unfortunately depending on where you buy it from it can be $ 150+. I found last year’s color at The Tack Room, and decided to order it since it was nearly 50% off. I ordered it late on a Thursday night, it was shipped Friday, and I had it the following Tuesday! Super fast service, good communication emailing me about the order being confirmed and shipped, and an excellently priced product — with free shipping because my order was over $ 100. They have a very large selection, too. I will definitely will order from them again.
