Hair House

Had a horrible experience with Hair House. My wedding got called off for reasons that were out of my control and they refused to give me a credit back for money I deposited. No one in the contract did it say I would not be refunded instead I was given a credit which made me feel like I was forced to stay there. On top of all that the stylist I loved left and I was forced to see people who don’t know my hair or how to do it as it can be very stubborn. Very disappointed and as soon as I was done with my credit I never returned and never plan on it. I instead found my old stylist and will be coming to her awesome salon

The staff at Hair House are top notch. From the owner Jen to all the girls she keeps on staff, not a single one seems uncomfortable or inexperienced.
I have very thick long hair that I both straighten and let curl/​wave. It’s incredibly difficult to find someone who can manage «taming» my hair, let alone find the right color balance without doing just a single color. I came in and was assigned to a girl (whose name I can never remember — so sorry!) but she did a fantastic job. It took about 2.5 hours to color, wash, and blow dry/​style my hair (which is standard). My hair felt fantastic and overall the quality was phenomenal.
More importantly to note — not once did she complain about how much hair I had or how long it would take her to blow dry it. She was very easy going and kept conversation light. She was also happy to offer up tips and give advice on how she thinks I should have cut it so that it can grow the healthiest. It was overall a wonderful experience and I know I’ve found my «place.» I’ll be going back later this month to have my roots done and possibly cut a few inches off. I’m really looking forward to it — which is a rarity for me!

First off — this salon is absolutely adorable! They truly make you feel at home & the staff is super friendly. This was my first time and Melisa did my hair, I came in hoping for a color match or something to even out my roots that were growing in. Melisa wanted to make sure my hair remained healthy and shiny, she covered my roots & added in baylage highlights. After she dried & straightened my hair she turned my chair and I literally fell in love! I have never been so happy with the outcome of my hair and I’m honestly so glad I came into this salon! I will definitely be returning! Thanks Hair House & thank you Melisa!

It is very clean and cute inside with a friendly staff. I had a day off called and they were able to fit me in no problem.

Dana is amazing! I came in with long hair and I wanted a sleek bob and she cut it exactly like I wanted! Very professional salon. Very friendly, clean, and beautiful atmosphere! Definitely my new salon.

Updated review: got a haircut with wash and blow dry here with Mynhi and I loved the outcome. She did exactly what I asked and still kept my hair’s length. The place is cute and the service was awesome. Will be coming back;)

I came to CT for a wedding, and booked a last minute updo at Hair House. I have thick, long, hair, and usually can’t find a place that can handle it. I went in expecting the worst, and was thoroughly impressed!
Tricia did my hair and I could tell she was having fun. She is a creative genius! I left feeling happy and beautiful, and thanks to her my hair looked exceptional for the wedding.
This is a great salon. I would definitely recommend it and go back.

Average, didn’t leave in love with my hair. They barely did anything really. The price are cheap though and they offer you wine when you come in.

I was in town for a weekend, visiting from San Francisco. My friend referred me to this salon. I had Myi (sorry for the spelling!) give me a partial highlight and a trim. It looked awesome, didn’t take forever, and the price was amazing. I would definitely go back if I was in town again!
