The park is very well maintained and nature is alive all around you no matter what the season is. I can’t imagine a better place to come and get away from the daily busyness of the city.
Activities such as sledding, cross country skiing, boating, canoeing, walking, running, swimming, fishing and there are trails everywhere to explore.

Village of Clarkston, MI

This is an awesome park! It gets incredible busy on weekends in the summer, but the park is large enough where it’s not unbearable. There are a few different beach options and a small splash/water park if that’s your thing. For other interests, there is a nice large loop perfect for a bike ride or walk. If you’re biking I recommend early or later in the day so you don’t have to worry about dodging people. Also, I believe helmets are required. Overall, a great metropark!
