I have been going here for a year, to the 7:30PM kickboxing class. It is the best workout I have ever had. I am the kind of person who does not do well at a standard gym. I get bored very easily, using the treadmill or elliptical and weights every single day. So last summer I decided to go back to Tae Kwon Do USA. I went there several years ago in 2004 for a few months before I moved to Costa Rica, so I knew exactly what to expect with this class. I have to warn you, this class is not for everyone. It is very intense, and you will definitely sweat. Sir(the teacher/owner) has us do everything from push ups to lunges and punching and kicking and using the bags and gloves. It is a total body workout, and if you are consistent and come here two to three times per week, you WILL see results. The thing I love the most about this class is the other students. It is truly a «judgment free» class. There are people of all levels here, and no one will judge you if you can’t keep up. He also changes the workouts frequently so you are always using different parts of your body. I always have had scrawny spaghetti arms, and now I am actually proud to show off my defined arms and shoulders. If you like to work out hard and sweat, and be rewarded for your hard work, then you should definitely come to this class. He has a 5:30 — 6:30 class Mon-Fri and the 7:30 — 8:30 class Mon, Wed and Friday. Hope to see you there!
