Patricia K. Ichimura, O.D

We were fomer patients of Dr Ichimura, loved her, had to leave because our medical insurance didn’t cover us with her. But while we there, she was one of the best optometrist’s, and very gentle, really nice, and very knowledgeable. She genuinely cares for her patients, which is why we miss her.

The staff is extremely nice and patient. It really feels like they take their time to do diligent work instead of trying to rush you out like your just another number to them. They treat you like a person and make sure to answer any and all questions so that you leave satisfied. Personally, I also had Dr. Ozaki and although it took a little longer, she has no control over the amount of time that the eye drops take to dilate your pupil. She was definitely one of the most thorough optometrists that I’ve had and that reassured me that absolutely nothing was missed (because of course I worry about every tiny spot in my eye: P). It was very easy to schedule appointments and to order a pair of new glasses. Hehe and I love that they didn’t judge me on the amount of time I spent trying on every single frame on the wall. twice: P

If you value your relationship with your health care provider, then you will definitely value the time spent at the office of Dr. Patricia Ichimura O.D.& Dr. Carlene Ozaki-​Morishige O.D. They are colleagues that share a special profession in life, and that is providing their knowledge and dedicated time with the community in helping you see the world as clear as it should be. The office is a family-​based oriented clientele, and with that they provide the utmost personal customer service where everyone is treated like family. So spread the word and make your next eye exam experience the one you will share with everyone else. Or just stop by and say Hello.

Patricia Ichimura is an amazing eye doctor! she’s super friendly, really knows what she’s talking about, and tries to help you with everything she can. i’ve been going to her for YEARS, and will continue to do so as long as she’s in practice.
she has a very gentle touch, so if she ever has to invade your face for your appointments, you don’t feel so weird about it.
also, she takes the time to really explain all the processes she going through in the examination, so you understand what is being done and why.
i recently got contacts, and she was really patient and helpful with me while i was learning to use them.
i’m not sure if she’s taking any new patients right now, but if she is, and you’re looking for an eye doc, see Dr. Ichimura!
the other Unilocaler reviewing Dr. Ozaki failed to mention that Dr. Ozaki is just starting out — Patricia is sharing her office with her, and an unfortunate reality is, if you’re just starting out, you of course need patients to start with. she must have been one of those beginner patients. also — knowing that Dr. Ozaki is new — wouldn’t you want her to take her time? and make sure she’s doing everything right? if i was seeing a new doctor, i’d rather them take their time, than rush through and do something wrong. just sayin…
UPDATE 04÷18÷12 — Dr. Ichimura is not taking new patients right now… sorry

One of the new optometrists, Ozaki, gave me my exam and took 45 minutes to dialate my eyes. My previous doctor took 10 minutes. It was frustrating because I was waiting and waiting, while in the meantime she gave another patient his exam. Although she’s a nice lady, I would have rather saved the 45 minutes and gone to someone more experienced.
