Helga’s Cabins

The cabin is 17 miles from Lassen Volcanic National Park. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Helga’s clean, comfortable cabin. My husband and I do a lot of traveling, but seldom have we had such nice accommodations for such a reasonable price. Helga herself is kind, generous, and thoughtful. The cabin overlooks a meadow and a duck pond and we loved just sitting on the porch watching the mama duck and her string of babies. The beds and furnishings were perfect for our needs. The appliances and air conditioner all worked beautifully, the refrigerator was roomy, and there was sufficient shelf and drawer space. There are tables on both the back and front porches, if you want to eat outside (and one in the kitchen if you don’t). The two big easy chairs were perfect for watching television or just kicking back. Helga is nearby and eager to help if any problem arises. We will most definitely come back!
