Jeffrey C Edman, MD

Dr. Edman is simply awesome. I’ve been visiting him (via remote consultations) for over a year now, and I will continue to do so, because it’s simply the best experience I’ve ever had with a medical professional. I had some fairly extensive bloodwork done, and having Dr. Edman go over the results was one of the most fascinating experiences I’ve had with my own personal health. I consider myself a pretty knowledgable person in general, and I can Google along with the best of them, but Dr. Edman’s analysis of my test results, suggestions for addressing some abnormalities, his extensive knowledge of genetics as they relate to health, and the whole experience in general was incredibly informative and fascinating. He’s helped me improve my health, and taught me a great deal in the process. My wife has started consulting with him as well and she loves him too.

Dr. Jeff has been fantastic to work with. He has been reviewing comprehensive blood work for me over the past year and I have achieved significant improvements in well being and athletic performance by employing his dietary and supplementary recommendations. I totally agree with BM’s review. Very odd visit… hard to talk to. Almost to the point of being condescending! After a very uncomfortable first visit, I decided to go with his program anyway, due to the rave Unilocal reviews. We needed to start with labs which he would be ordering and sending me the lab slip. Never got it and had already scheduled a return visit the next week. Since he has no staff (another oddity) I sent him 2 voicemails and 2 emails. He never responded so I decided to cancel my next visit. He actually did respond right away to my cancellation without acknowledging why he never sent me the info I requested. Still hoping to give him another chance, I sent him an email to reschedule my visit. Dumb move! And what did I get… an email stating our chemistry wasnt there (???) therefore he would not take me as a patient! The oddest experience I have ever had with a doctor!!! Stay away unless you want a very odd, unpleasant visit!!! There are far better doctors out there than «Dr. Jeff»!!!

Dr. Jeff is truly the answer to my life long struggle with weight, body image and currently, premenopausal distress. He was able to take the time to notice some if my vitamin deficiencies, that my other doctor had minimized (like low iron and vitamin D). Also he really looked at my sleep, stress, moods as well as diet and excercise. The things I thought I was doing «right» may have been right when I was 30, but not at 49. Dr. Jeff is a great educator and motivator. He is so knowledgeable about how all aspects of life/​aging contribute to weight.
It took me some time to get started loosing, but after 4 mos I was down 15−20lbs and only a few lbs from my goal. I took a break to stabilize in my new weight, but now have the motivation to get the last 5 – 8 off. Dr. Jeff has been so supportive about letting me decide my goal weight and whether or not I continue with him. He has encouraged me to think about why I want to go lower and what «that number on the scale» means to me.
I have referred several friends to him and they are thrilled as well. Yes, you have to do what he says to make his plan (whatever his is for you-​my friends and I have had individual plans made for us) work. There is no miracle pill and just sitting in his office doesn’t make you lose weight, but following his advice as much as possible will.
I plan to see him quarterly even after I reach my goal, because I need the accountability. I know this about myself. Dr. Jeff is that for me but so much more. I totally trust him. He is not only really intelligent and an expert in his field, he is super funny, practical and kind

Wow, what can I say about this guy. DB immediately comes to mind, truly one of the worst human beings I have ever had the misfortune to interact with. Genuinely an awful person.

It’s easy to think that a «deal» will get you the either someone who isn’t great, or get you put into some sort of «machine» to extract more dollars. Nothing could be further from the reality with Dr. Jeff!
I came to Dr. Jeff thinking I had about 25 pounds to lose — after my health history and really taking into consideration what mattered to me, he said how about 20!
Every session I felt like a had a partner in my journey, and I knew that I could talk about any of my health concerns. We often spoke about issues with sleep, aging, energy. He’s truly as committed to my health as I am.
I’m so glad to have Dr. Jeff on my side. Even though I don’t have monthly appointments any longer, I still connect every couple of months, because I love having such a caring, considerate, and KNOWLEDGEABLE doctor on my side.

Dr. Edman is a cutting edge doctor who thinks outside of the box. I had a multitude of issues due to menopause — hot flashes, osteroporosis, weight gain and not enough muscle mass. After ordering extensive blood tests, Dr. J. went over the results with me; taking the time to explain everything in plain English. Dr. J. put me on a combination of medications, vitamins and diet. I feel 100% better and cannot recommend him more highly.

I cannot say enough about Dr Edman. He takes his time to really listen to your concerns and gives thoughtful, effective advice. He does comprehensive analysis of any tests run to identify the root cause of any issues. I only wish I had met him earlier!

I am pleased and relieved to have found Dr. Jeff. There is so little organized help for women as we age. After years of bouncing around from doctor-​to-​doctor, ones who didn’t «believe» in hormone therapy or simply threw gobs of supplements at me, I found Dr. Jeff. He worked patiently and methodically to create an HRT plan for me that allows me to function with the energy and enthusiasm of my old (really younger) self. He also works with me on diet, weight loss and general health. I am very grateful for his continuing help and would recommend him very, very highly.

Dr. Jeff Edman is the doctor I’ve been looking for my entire life. For the first time I met with someone who understood all of the health issues I had been experiencing and was actually able to address them. My only regret is that I didn’t meet him until I was in my forties. I wish I had met him back in my teens and early twenties — my life would have been completely different. Completely. I am his biggest evangelist. He has such a solid understanding of human physiology. On top of that he is a wonderful person who is very easy to talk to. He is down to earth and explains things in terms that are easy to understand. He even diagnosed many issues I was having prior to seeing my blood work — and after seeing my blood work – all of his instincts were confirmed. Because of him I feel and look better in my forties than I have in the last 15 years. He really is amazing. I’ve recommended him to every person who I talk to and they have all come back to me incredibly grateful. Can’t say enough good things about him.

Straight to the Health Point! I Wish I Found Dr. Edmond 25 Years Ago!
For unknown reasons, I began menopause at the age of 38 and was post menopausal by 44. By the time I was 45 I began to uncontrollably gain weight and have more and more health issues. A few months ago I turned 50 and was now considered obese, had gain over 80 pounds in less then 5 years, lost +/​-​35 pounds, but was still +/​-​45 pounds overweight. My body fat was so high I felt I was slowly dying. It was then that I made the decision I could no longer accept this unexplainable decline in every aspect of my life and knew I had to do something. That’s when I run across Dr. Edmond while searching online for a doctor to save my life.
As soon as I met Dr. Edmond I knew he was different. His initial consultation lasted just over an hour and he covered everything to get to know my medical history and pinpointed several things right away. From that point he assessed my weight, body composition, ordered lab tests, and explained available weight loss programs. He also explained how the HRT medications I was taking were negatively affecting me and how he would transition me off of them. Well, within one week and lab tests complete, HRT meds changed to safer ones, I was on track to being a different person. I felt it… my body and brain were changing! I went through a very fast detox phase to rid my body of years of heavy sugar and carb consumption and the unneeded medication. Four weeks later I lost 8 pounds of pure fat, not water or other stuff, pure fat. My body looked like I lost 15 pounds and I felt like a beauty queen. Seven weeks later and I’m down 4 pant sizes, my belly fat is so low that it’s almost gone and I feel like I’m 30 again. All because Dr. Edmond took the time in my first visit to thoroughly assess my medical and weight loss needs. I wish I had found him when in my 20s and he could have treated and controlled my hormonal imbalance then.
Oh yeah, one thing… he is a man of truth and honesty and that’s exactly what you’ll get. There is no fluff or dancing around the topic with him. His focus is your health and well-​being. So fasten your seat belt, hold on and enjoy your ride to better health!

Finally, a doctor you can actually have a conversation with! Instead of the clinical lecture, my experience with Dr. Edman was so much more personalized, allowing me to bounce off my ideas on how to maximize my results on his program. I’m glad to say that results were well beyond my expectations and his approach to patient interaction made all the difference, giving me the knowledge to make my own good choices when it comes to what gets put into my mouth. Dr. Edman is a very good specialist. He knows his business. Takes the time to here your history. He is not a cookie cutter doctor. Every client is different and he understands that everyone has a background and that is very important in the treatment of the disease. I have found him very knowledgeable about the field and have had very good results. Hoping to continue the journey.
