Maureen Manley

Maureen Manley is truly an amazing healer. She is intuitive, gentle and intelligent. She has an amazing amount of education and experience and can tackle even the most unusual problems. I came to see her with a nagging sciatica, gut issues and ankle pain. Within just one visit, they miraculously disappeared. I am a physical therapist and can not quite understand what she did, but whatever it was worked (and am still feeling great one week later). Thank you Maureen!

Maureen is a miracle and by far the best body worker that my spouse, friend, and I have ever experienced. All three of us came to her with very long standing, chronic issues and experienced unexpected relief within one to three sessions. We had enough hope (or desperation) to get to her office, but could not even imagine her level of knowledge, expertise and rapid results. My own upper neck and back pain, from chronic overuse and injury, had been sucking my life energy for 33 years.
As a hard working, dedicated and caring individual, who is constantly studying and updating her knowledge, I consider Maureen gifted in shifting acute and chronic conditions. Maureen is magic! I was in a car accident (caused by an uninsured driver) and saw a recommended chiropractor a couple of times who seemed competent but resulted in me having even more pain.
Luckily I was directed to see Maureen and in one session, she not only relieved the acute pain I was feeling in my neck and back, but also did a special treatment on the anxiety and trauma I was having whenever I was in traffic (either driving myself or with others).
She did a full assessment of my body and then focused on the areas that were troubling me. Within the two hour session my neck was free of the shooting pains and my back felt relaxed and I slept well for the first time that night since the accident (which had been over 3 weeks by that time). The results have been long-​lasting. It has been a few weeks since that session and I still feel the alignment and am pain free. Whatever it is that she does, works!
When she worked with the memory/​emotional holding of the accident, she spent maybe two minutes releasing it from my body and I could feel an instantaneous departure of the pattern. From that moment, I have not had any of the anxiety or hyper-​vigilance when in a car again.
I know some about how the body works and have been lucky enough to have exceptionally powerful bodywork over the last 30 years, but have never experienced the level of competence, accuracy and results that Maureen has given me.
Not only is she a talented healer but a lovely, delightful person. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Maureen is an incredibly skilled practitioner who pinpoints the root cause of symptoms that haunt people for years. I have been hearing about how great Maureen’s bodywork is for several years from two of my friends. Recently I was rear ended at a stop light, which injured my back and neck. I booked a session with her to try for some relief. I have never in my life had such great results from any bodyworker. Maureen draws from several different modalities and the sum total result is far beyond what you can imagine you might expect. Maureen is an excellent communicator and explains what she is doing and why. Along with deep tissue work, she helps you to develop new neural pathways to solve the issues.
Later the night of the session I felt my back releasing as if the 4^th of July was happening in my muscles, in a fabulous way. It was a shimmering energetic feeling and it held. If you have any kind of orthopedic pain I highly recommend you try her out. She is supremely talented.

Maureen has really made a big difference in my life!
I originally contacted her because I had experienced a serious sound injury requiring months of limited contact with the outside world. I thought this would be a good time to get the rest of my body back in shape. I had serious knee problems, to the extent I could only walk on level pavement without pain. This had been going on for over two years. I also had serious back problems and posture issues.
Little did I anticipate this, but the day she came for our first session, my jaw was in excruciating pain. So, in addition to everything else, she worked on my jaw and ear area. In one session, my right ear and jaw was virtually free of pain, and I had her come back almost immediately to take my left jaw and ear out of pain. This pain has never returned.
In three or four sessions, my knees were so much better that I was now out climbing trails — very uneven terrain! Maureen encouraged me to take risks of all kind to build up my knees. It was such a miracle to be able to go to the beach again, and this really lifted my spirits immensely. It even benefited my relationship, as I was now able to do so much more with my partner.
Maureen worked on my back and other issues. At first I was afraid to be touched in sensitive places but in time she was touching all my sensitive places in releasing stored up pain. Then they weren’t nearly as sensitive anymore.
Now my posture is much better, I have lots of exercises to do, and my back, while not totally healed, is certainly a lot more resilient.
The healing I’ve experienced is miraculous. I can’t imagine how I would have made it through this period of my life without Maureen. She also has great wisdom and sensitivity.
I can’t say enough good things about working with Maureen. I highly recommend her to anybody.
