The Grand Meringue

I never even heard of Meringue before until I went to a birthday party and my friend had different varieties of flavors. I’m not really a sweet tooth chick but after tasting some yummy Meringue I couldn’t keep my hands off of them!
I was able to have the pleasure in tasting some of the amazing flavors such as:
~Chocolate Hazelnut
~Strawberry
~Ginger honeycomb
~Chocolate Mint
~Mango coconut
I have to admit that all the flavors were really good and so beautifully presented.
The Meringue was so light and airy, sweet and crispy that when I had my first taste it seemed to just melt in my mouth… YUMM!
I love how the outsides of the meringue are nice and crisp and colorful. This is definitely a great dessert for birthday parties, weddings and other great events. Easy to serve and great to eat!
I definitely will be using this vender for any exciting events that I may have coming up!

Let me preface this by saying that I really don’t have much of a sweet tooth, but when I do get a hankering for it, only the best will do. Not the case with savory foods however. In that regard, I can eat just about anything.
But back to sweets.
Usually, birthdays are associated with cakes, cupcakes, ice cream, cookies, punch, and even candy or chocolate. Sheesh, I already have a toothache just talking about it.
With my birthday celebration, I knew I wanted to implement that tradition of presenting something sweet and sugary, but wanted it to be just a tad different from the norm.

I called and was immediately sent a quote by email. I was given the 5 flavors of the day which consisted of:
1. Strawberry
2. Chocolate Hazelnut
3. Chocolate Mint
4. Ginger honeycomb
5. Mango coconut
Being the indecisive person that I am, I ordered 10 of each.
The transaction was very simple. Since the meringues are made to order, they do ask for payment upfront. Price ranges are listed on their website. They’ll send you an invoice by email and you can pay online before pick-​up. They do ask that you give them a 48 hour notice.
Needless to say, these delicate puffs were gobbled right up. Although light and airy, these meringues are seriously packed full of flavor. I was highly impressed by the quality of ingredients and the playful display.
I’m definitely now a fan of The Grand Meringue and wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again.

Most don’t have any idea how hard it is to have the perfect meringue. Well, I do and I have a load of respect for a stellar product. As you eat it, it starts with the sweetness and a little flavor. This flavor increases as you continue letting it melt in your mouth. The appearance is wonderful and inviting, the blend of herbs and known flavor is what set them apart. With a crispy outside crunch you are met with a creamy center that takes you away. I loved them. The ladies that own the company are honestly proud to keep their standards of quality high in every bite.

I was at the salon getting my hair done and my stylist offered me one of these meringues to try. I think that one of her other clients dropped them off so the customers could try them. I have to say, I have thought about those meringues ever since! I am not a big sweets-​eater and I am very selective about what sweets I eat. I have a small bit of very special chocolate each day but that is about it. I am actually considering substituting these precious meringues for the chocolate! They are so delicate and beautifully flavored. Just delightful. Definitely try them!

Works of art, the box of meringues that I ordered exceeded my expectations and made a beautiful gift for the holidays. Customized for Chanukah, I loved bringing this to the hostess and guests ate them all up. I’ll definitely be back for more.
