Favorite liquor store in the New Brunswick area. They have an awesome selection of both craft and cheap beers (unlike most liquor stores in the Rutgers area) and also an amazing selection of wine. Yes, there’s $ 5 wine but there’s also a zillion sections of different wine varieties ranging from the inexpensive to the fancy, so you can really go for whatever your want. The guys who work there are also super helpful and if they spot you looking a little lost, they’ll ask if you need help and find the wine for you! This is where I plan to go for all of my boozy New Brunswick needs from now on.

Has a nice selection of craft beers, but was missing a couple that absolutely should have had. Really not thrilled with the attitude of the manager. As I was making my choices he kept walking in front of me opening doors in front of me and never once said excuse me, actually just flat out rude. Then to top it all off they did not except the discount card they advertise except on Sam Adams which they don’t consider craft beer. So I’ve made my first and last visit to this location

I’ve been to this location several times. It’s bigger than Ryder’s Lane Liquors, both of which are closest to my house. This is the store I normally pass on my way home, so I’ll stop in if I need something. Although it is a small store, they have a good selection of pretty much all wines, beer and spirits. I wish they had a few more selections of cider, but not that big of a deal.
Staff is always around and friendly, ready to offer help or advice if needed. If you’re in the Milltown area and need a liquor store, this is. Good choice.

Nice selection of wines with some decent prices. Also good selection of other liquors. SO WHY ONLY 2 STARS? Purchased some beer and realized they were long necks which didn’t fit in my small beverage fridge real well. Brought it back (with receipt) for exchange. Was told cannot return beer! So I will not be giving my business to Buy Rite. EVER !
