The Custard Holes are pretty good for donuts, but they are not something I crave. I like that they are not too sweet or oily. They are like fluffy soft bread fried. The custard inside could be improved with better ingredients. However, they are very good for $ 3@dozen. Hubby had a bite and said«not bad»… Then he downed half a dozen. They are not something I would go out of my way to get, but I might buy them on occasion when I pass by.

Overall, this place is pretty good! Cheap prices on donuts, BUT they ONLYTAKECASH! So take some cash with you to avoid using the ATM there(which unfortunately requires a charge of $ 2.00 to use it since it is not the one you use at your normal back which would not charge you this at all). They also have lunch options! Go check it out!

I have to stay far away from here lest I become a new candidate for world’s fattest man. You can’t find better doughnuts! Four stars given because they only accept cash. In this day and age there’s no excuse. I accept credit cards at my garage sale, why can’t a business? I’ll change it to 5(which it deserves) once they get square or something else that accepts cards.

No frills donut shop near my office. We come here for the glazed donuts and the donut holes with custard. Super yums! The ladies are always super nice and the line seems to move super fast. You know you are at a legit donut spot when people come in just to chillax, read a newspaper, and hang out. The donuts are cheap and delish. But they are CASH only! So buyer beware. They are one of the few places in Milpitas open at like 5am or something which is awesome. I would highly recommend if you are in the area.

Irene and Wayne put up with my mother’s high maintenance blended coffee drink every day for YEARS. I don’t know how they did it but just hearing her order made me cringe. That goes to show how sweet the service is here. They’re so friendly and personable. There are a few things here that I have a hard time deciding between every single time I come here. Here’s the list. You’re welcome! 1. Apple fritter(sells out pretty early in the day) 2. Onion poppy bagel 3. Jalapeño bagel 4. Ham and swiss croissant

Love love love this place! I only wish they would have more choices, but it’s only because I don’t get to swing by until late morning. Their selection is pretty limited by the time I make it over, but I’ve never had something I didn’t like.

I have had these donuts for years either at work or someone bringing them to the school I volunteer for, Totally agree with all the other Unilocalers and say they have the best donut holes. The choice for filling are custard, chocolate and jelly. My favorite is the custard as the jelly is a bit too artificial tasting. Don’t worry if you want a dozen and only see a few in the case. The owner will gladly fill the donut holes for you upon request. This is a small mom and pop operation and the owner is so nice and sweet. The shop also offers a small selection of lunch items. Plenty of seating as most customers take their box of goodies to go.

For all Milpitas High students who live on the south side of town(aka Rancho grads) and bused home, the corner of Park Victoria and Calaveras is known as «the stop where the bus driver takes a five minute break to get donuts from Christy’s and to chat with his buddy who drives the northbound bus on the the same line.» Get the vanilla custard filled donut holes. Chocolate and jelly holes also available.

My favorite mom-and-pop doughnut shop! I’ve gone to this place since middle school, which was… a long time ago. The owners are super nice, and they always throw in a little extra donut holes free of charge! You have got to try those famously amazing custard holes! Normally, custard to me usually has an almost sour taste, but this is more of a vanilla pudding flavor. They also sell out quickly so on weekends especially, come early! You know it’s good when you see cops and firemen getting their coffee and doughnut fix before their morning shifts. Every time I bring these to the office, they’re gone in a flash! Like my diet if I’m around the area…

Whenever I come here, it’s to satisfy my sweet tooth. The jelly filled donut holes are pretty dope, so I always end up getting a dozen. I’m not really a fan of custard filled anything, but I gave the plain custard and chocolate custard holes a shot and was pretty satisfied. I tried the ham and cheese croissant sandwich and it was pretty filling for its price. I also ordered a large coffee and underestimated the size of it. But for its price they sure give you a ton of drink. In a single visit, I once ordered a dozen holes and a coffee and may have exceeded my caloric intake, but that was my mistake. I have yet to try their other items, let alone whole donuts, but give me more time. I can only eat so much.

Great service. I got in and out in less than 3 minutes. Recommend the custard holes — $ 5 for 2 dozen. Inexpensive, affordable and delicious.

In need of a sweet treat to bring to a party? The custard filled donut holes are the perfect answer! I’ve been to the other location on Capitol but I like this one better. The donuts here are more uniform in size so the glaze and the filling are always proportionate to the actual donut. The other location makes them a little larger but you end up with a partially unglazed donut hole with a lot of bread and not enough filling. I haven’t been to the other one in years so it may be different now. The people here are nice enough. Always go for a dozen more than you originally planned to get. You won’t regret it. CASHONLY.

I feel like I have a additon. There donuts, bagels and croissant breakfast sandwiches are the best in the bay area. When ever I pick up a supply for meeting I am always asked were did you get these delicious, bagels or donuts. If you want to have a memorable tasting experience you can not go wrong at Christys Donuts, but be wear they are addicting.

Heard all the rave with the custard filled donut holes – they were good, but not AMAZING! Great price too! I believe they are $ 0.50 each – can’t remember. However, these are great at parties as finger food and typically, 1 – 2 custard filled donut holes is perfect amount for me without feeling guilty of sweet OD.

I get donuts here for my team every Wednesday, and they are always on point. Our shift starts at 5 am, so I usually stop by before then. The guy who’s always there is really friendly and chipper before 5am and that’s awesome! There’s usually a line of people waiting to be served and you know that’s always a good sign. The donuts are always fresh and really tasteful. I love how they have a large variety of donuts. My favorite donut is the twist with sprinkles. Good service+fresh food= W I N!

It’s my birthday weekend and I will do everything I want! I’ve been eyeing Christy’s Donuts for a while now and finally was able to partake in the ever so popular donut filled holes. We arrived at the location which is part of a strip mall and has plenty of parking. There were a few folks inside which was crazy considering it was early afternoon on a Saturday. There were plenty of donut holes which were $ 0.25 each or $ 3.00 for a dozen. They had the normal, but the filled ones were custard, jam, and chocolate. So what did I think? I would rather just get plain donut holes. The jam was probably my favorite of the three, but still felt that the jam was very artificial in flavor though what would you expect right? The chocolate was pretty much chocolate pudding. The custard felt like just a vanilla pudding. I guess I overhyped it in my head. Maybe I’ll try the actual donuts next time, but I actually liked the Donut Basket better where they had friendlier service.

Got a ham & egg croissant, cinnamon crumb donut, and some donut holes filled with egg custard. All were fresh and delicious. The croissant is soft and buttery. They have them displayed in the case, and warm them up. Service is fast and efficient. There were 3 people readily available to assist. As others have mentioned, it’s cash only. A nice, quaint donut shop. I would definitely come here more if I lived close by.

I thought I did good by buying several dozen filled donut holes for a recent potluck at work. Those suckers went fast! Next time I will tack on another dozen or two. The place is never not busy but don’t be discouraged by the line, they move swiftly to get your order and get you on your way. Do yourself a favor and grab yourself a Vietnamese coffee with those donuts. If you’re going to go big– go big and go with something else that’s solid besides their famously delicious donut holes! Note: cash only, playa!
