Wow! This place is amazing! it goes way back! The plants are absolutely gorgeous! I’m doing some landscaping in my yard so we bought some new bushes and some hydrangeas and we were amazed of how gorgeous this place was. The ladies at the front counter were wonderful! They came to my truck and helped us, too! I will definitely be coming back to buy some more plants before the end of the week! They have statues I wanted to buy, too! LOVE IT HERE!

This place is staffed by nice folks.
It is very Old School, their property goes waaay back, where they keep things like apple trees for sale, I hope they never sell to be cut up into a subdivision like the big field north of here was years ago.
What drove me here was that the bagged soil at Home Depot, the cheap one, is horrendous barky garbage, and would be expensive for the amount I needed. The topsoil here is quite good, and it cost 34 bucks for a yard scoop, if you have a truck.
My one complaint would be that I bought a cast concrete bird bath base a few years ago and it dissolved very quickly. This is due to an insufficient ratio of portland cement to sand, and the item was not particularly cheap so that makes the teeth grate, as portland cement is really not that expensive. A properly cast item like that should keep its detail for decades.
Still, they did not manufacture the thing, so on the whole, a very good place, and an enjoyable one to visit as well, as one lusts after various vegetation for which one has no room.

Unbelievable service and attention to detail! Geno came to our house, did an assessment and recommended beautiful landscaping based on what we were looking for. He was so thorough and helpful and answered all of my questions. Because this place is so amazing, there was about a month wait for the work to be done but that said, they were right on schedule (promised in the month of June and had it done in the first week of the month) and finished everything in one day. The men who came day-​of were incredibly helpful, friendly, and clearly really hard workers. They put so much care into the work they do and it shows. We loved our experience and will definitely go back for future landscaping needs. Highly recommend!!!

This is the second year in a row I have had to order dirt for my yard. Last year I went with someone that was local to me and this year I called A Thomas. They delivered the loam/​compost mix right away and I was very pleased with the dirt. Tons of worms for my veggie garden. If you are paying for dirt make sure it is a good quality. Also the place that is basically at the end of my street charged $ 50 for delivery fee and A Thomas only charged $ 45.
Also they have a great selection of plants and trees along with very friendly staff that are always willing to hlep.

I called these guys looking for dirt to fill a flower bed in my back yard. Not the tallest order as I only needed a few yards but none the less they were prompt, polite, and extremely accommodating. Delivery was next day and the truck driver squeezed the dirt to the best possible location for me to move it around. Dirt was also very high quality and I’m looking forward to planting shrubs and flowers. So, if you need dirt on a dime, these guys are great.
