Belle Visage

I came here a while ago after purchasing a groupon for an eyelash perm and thought I’d share my thoughts now. Though the facility itself is really nice and clean, I found the customer service to be lacking. After the perm was applied to my eyelashes, I could tell something wasn’t right because my eyes were BURNING. When it was over I was blind for a good ten minutes. my boyfriend had to escort me to my car. And while all of this was happening, no one on the staff said anything and sort of just left me to fend for myself. In the end, my right eye turned out great and my left eye was a hot mess. With that being said, I’m still giving them 2 stars because it could have possibly been my fault that my eyelashes were botched.

Went to Belle Visage in Milton Sq. with a gift card. My nail tech cut my right toe! With no apologies or compensation I left! The next day I found a ‘flap of skin’ hanging from my right heal!!! I had to cut the skin off myself & I’ve been treating it appropriately! NEVER AGAIN! I’ve rated wit one Belle Visage because you can’t post a review on Unilocal without doing so, otherwise I would not even give them one! Stay Away!

Ive had a manicure done here as well as an eyelash perm.
Manicure: never been here before but nothing too fancy. They take the time to massage your hands and make you feel like home.
Eyelash perm: i highly recommend it to anyone who has long eyelashes and hates using a curler. They last for like a month to three months tops and you never need a curler when theyre done, you only put on mascara and go ! Sophie, the owner, has helped me do it both times. She explained to me the best option to make them look natural. The whole process, for me, took about 30 mins but sooo worth it. Speaking of that, about to make my third appointment with her.

I don’t understand the bad reviews. I will only go after a coworker recommended it. I love Yan and Christina but yan is my favorite for manicure and pedicure.

Be warned I actually did not receive any treatments here. I write this review out of frustration for there being no screening process when booking a pre-​natal massage. I called to book one they said no problem and scheduled me in a few days later. When I arrived the woman showed me to the massage bed which was not a prenatal table. She asked if I could lay on my back for 25 minutes, I told her no, since most OB’s suggest not to lay on your back after you hit 25 weeks. The lady told me I could lay on my side for the massage but she wouldn’t be able to do my back well. Well, really all I care about is my back, I am 7 months pregnant. I think that is most pregnant women’s complaint area. At that point I wasn’t going to pay probably $ 100 for a massage and tip when it wasn’t even what I wanted. I left without getting anything done.

Rude woman on the phone. I won’t even try their services because if you don’t know how to treat a customer over the phone why the hell would I waste a trip. No thanks.

I love this place, they have lovely chatty staff! I love the facials Stacie gives an amazing one! My skin always feels amazing after, my friends also always comment on my facial as soon as I get it done! I have been blessed with very fair eyebrows and Stacie does a great job to shape them and tint them, so people can see them! I have had the eyelashes extentions done, they offered me the groupon price so yes I was so happy! I always get my spray tan there, I love the price and they pay attention to every area. love love love this place!

the worst salon experience ever! the absolute worst!
do not go to this salon! it is not surprising that 3 out of 6 reviews gave them 1 star. the owner is rude and not helpful, the staff lied to me, saying appts were available. and then saying that you have to schedule appts weeks in advance. i have heard really bad things about the services and it makes sense. what is the point of buying a groupon for a service if you cant make an appt. the owner literally told me that i should’ve made the appt and then bought the groupon. ??? (oh so it’s my fault? or is this fraud, that you sell a service that you can’t provide) if they are going to pre-​sell a service they should have appts available.
so i’ve lost money, but after reading these other posts and what people have said about this salon, i will save more frustration staying far away from this place.

I love this place! I’ve gone to many places around town and my regular manicures from here seem to last the longest. The staff is really friendly and the newly renovated salon is beautiful! I’ve had manis, pedis and eyebrow waxes done here and I’ve been happy with all of them. The prices are great too and the cheapest compared with local places nearby. I’ve seen many diff. people as well. I can usually call and get a last minute appt which I like since I never know what my schedule will be like. Highly recommend!

Belle Visage, is indeed, a hidden gem in East Milton Square, From the moment you open the door till you exit, the people who take care of you here are pretty amazing. I have lived in Milton for close to nine years and actually patronized another Salon in the Square but I must say that I have found Belle Visage to be quite unique! Unique because they provide a welcome or maybe a personal touch, something that is not the norm today! At most salons, it’s an impersonal greeting «cash or credit card! In two visits to see two different people, this experience was the same and delightful! Treat yourself, go to Belle Visage, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

This salon is a hidden gem in Milton. I have been to salons on Newbury street that aren’t nearly as good. I had a pumpkin facial that was to die for. Stacy is awesome! Professional, and friendly, just the right blend. The prices for the services is extremely affordable. Cant wait to go back.

Not sure why the old reviews are so negative but I was in last weekend and had a really great experience. I had a gift card so I got a mani pedi and a massage and all of them were very nice. It’s not the fanciest spa I’ve ever been to but it’s clean and calming and the staff was friendly and attentive. The massage was very relaxing and I only wish it could have lasted longer!

One of the worst massages I’ve had in my entire life. My masseuse had long nails and kept scratching me. The «Swedish massage» is absolutely nothing like any other Swedish massage I’ve had. The previous reviewer was correct about the bizarre attention to massaging the buttocks. Who carries stress there? My masseuse also firmly and consistently massaged a painful bruise which made it a lot worse. When I got home, I discovered the masseuse had sliced open one of my toes with her nails. I called to complain and got a 100% refund. I really have to warn people away from this establishment for health and sanitary reasons. I have never met or spoken to «Sofia G.» SKETCHY

I received the gift of a massage from Belle Visage and finally got around to going today. I should have known I was in for it when I called at 10am and they had the entire evening open for massage appointments, not to mention the receptionist did not even ask what kind of massage I wanted.
First impression when I walked in– this place is a glorified nail salon. The entire front of the place is nail booths and pedicure stations. They stuck a few treatment rooms in the back and they were tiny! The woman that did my massage did not introduce herself and rushed me to get changed, not to mention there was nowhere to put my clothing once I took it off. The massage table was too narrow and the oil smelled like strawberry syrup– yuck!
Then came the massage, which was pretty much on par with the massages that my husband will give me once in a blue moon. Way too much butt action and she massaged my feet, which was nice but so weird since no one ever really does that.
The woman was nice when it was over, but the atmosphere and quality were the worst massage experience that I have ever had.
