Dave’s Vermont Pizzeria

Sadly, Dave’s Pizzeria is now closed down.
Dave’s Vermont Pizzeria is a great little pizzeria that’s probably not too well known outside Milton. It is by far the best pizza place of the three in Milton. Located just off Route 7 in a small building past Kinney drugs on Centre Drive one may not expect to find such good food.
Dave’s offers the traditional pizzeria fare. Aside from the usual pizza toppings there are a variety of specialty pizzas available. I highly recommend the Dave’s Special (pizza sauce, pepperoni, sausage, bacon, ham, meatballs, onions, green peppers, & mushrooms) or the Chicken Ranch Special (a white pizza with ranch dressing, garlic, chicken breast, bacon, onions, tomatoes, & mozzarella). Another great thing about the pizza is that all of the regular and specialty pizzas are also available in an 8″ six slice size! Calzones and stromboli are also available.
Additionally Dave’s offers a variety of grinders, burgers, knotted roll sandwiches, soups, salads, and appetizers. My favorite appetizer is the brushetta, toasted rolls with melted mozarella cheese, tomato, and olive oil on it. Eight pieces for a full order or four pieces for a half order. Dave’s even has a couple of pasta dinners and several dinner platters. on the menu.
There isn’t too much available for beverages. The selection is limited to single liter of Pepsi products, bottled juices, and bottled water. I think fountain soda is also available for those that dine in, but I can’t recall as I’ve only ordered for pick-​up.

All in all the selection at Dave’s Vermont Pizzeria is quite diverse aside from the skimpy beverage selection. There’s sure to be something to please anyone who goes there. The ambiance is pretty basic but definitely provides a great place to get together with friends and socialize. I give this hidden gem four stars!
