It is a very nice little memorial to Americas heroes. Every year on Memorial Day they provide a place to have your old flag destroyed in the correct manner and they even have a storage container to hold the ashes.

This is a very nice memorial. It’s right next to Milton Community Park. There is a little walkway that leads up to the memorial wall. Just before you get to the wall there is a small water fountain with a memorial plaque. Then the wall itself is made all from brick, with each brick inscribed with one of our fallen troops. This memorial nestled on top of a hill that runs down into the park is a place to sit on the benches and comtemplate what someone is willing to give to protect his/her country. What I thought was also pretty cool is that there is an Arlington Oak, grown from an acorn from Arlington national cemetary and planted at the 11th hour of the 11 day of the 11 month of the 11th year of the 2nd milennium. It’s just a short walk down the hill to the oak which is completely surrounded by a barred bird cage type apparatus for protection from vandals. Everything(the memorial and the oak) are on CCTV so smile you’re on camera.
