I have always considered bayside Garden the most experienced and knowledgeable of any garden store in this area. They have the widest variety of plants available. They are also the people I go to when i have a problem with a plant, whether it is bugs, disease or just in the wrong spot. They are also knowledgeable about picking a plant for problem spots like heavy shade. When I first became interested in bird feeding they were very happy to show which food and feeders for which bird. I have always thought that they are not chatters because they are very busy and hard working about their business.

I wasted a trip here because their hours are not correct on the website. It was closed at 9am on a Sun. Here’s the info I copied from their website:
We’re Open: Mon-​Fri 8am — 6pm
Sat 8am — 5:30pm, Sun 9am — 5pm

I called while in the parking lot and no one answered.
You only get one chance with me, so I will keeping my business at Home Depot.

Great selection, usually, but the staff are SO rude and unwelcoming. I am basing this on 4 – 5 visits, not just one bad experience. I live within walking distance and I will not be coming here again.

The high-​quality plants and knowledgeable staff make Bayside Garden Center stand out among garden stores. They have a beautiful selection of plants, pottery, and gardening supplies and the prices are reasonable. The staff has always been great at answering questions and offering suggestions. I’ve always found it worthwhile to go a little out of my way to shop here.

They are very thorough in answering any gardening questions you may have. A fantastic selection of flowers, plants, and garden furniture and accessories abounds. The quality of plants is high and I would recommend this place.
