I called today on behalf of my future sister-in-law to make an appt. She wants a simple wedding gown and was looking to try on bridesmaid gowns to achieve that look. When I called to set up an appt, they would not let me schedule a Saturday appt for her, because it was for a bride and not a bridal party. They said she would have to make an appt on a weekday. That is absolutely disgusting customer service. The only day that works out for all of us to dress shop with the bride is on a Saturday, making it impossible for her to even shop there. When I half jokingly said, «Okay, we are a group of bridesmaids then, can I make the appt for a Saturday?», the person on the phone snottily replied«No, it doesn’t work that way.» Newsflash Bella Bridesmaids… without the BRIDE there would be no BRIDESMAIDS. Someone needs to review your policy, and keep in mind the brides are the ones keeping you in business.

I had an appointment at the end of October 2015 and I was sure I knew what dresses I wanted my girls to have. To my surprise, I changed my mind and Courtney was able to help me find the perfect dresses for my Bridesmaids. They are going to go perfect with my outdoor ceremony. I placed my order on 11÷1÷15 and the dresses were in on 1÷5÷16. I was not even expecting these dresses until next month! A HUGE Thank you is in order for Ariel and Courtney who were absolutely amazing to work with. Everything was seemless and so stress free. I 100% reccommend Bella Bridesmaids to anyone looking for the great experience at an affordable price.

Stars are for how well the Milwaukee Bella Bridesmaids mess was handled by the Chicago owners. We have a similar story to the other recent reviewers, though luckily our order was actually placed at some point and will still arrive with enough time for alterations. I received a call today from Erin of the Chicago store explaining the situation and the delay. She was very apologetic and accommodating. I can only imagine what a headache this has been for her to take on and can tell she is doing her best to remedy it. I would say it’s safe to shop with Bella Bridesmaids in the future since the person who caused this whole mess is now out of the picture. We love the dresses we picked out and the pricing was reasonable.

Like a couple of the women stated below, I too was scammed by the previous manager Kayla. I placed an order for my bridesmaid dress beginning of March 2015 and was told I would receive it middle of May(wedding is end of June). A few weeks passed after I placed my order and I noticed my credit card hadn’t been charged yet. I called the store making sure my order was placed and Kayla ASSURED me my order was indeed placed and that she was just behind on putting transactions through the system. Fast forward 3 weeks(today), I get a call from the new owner of the Milwaukee store stating my order was actually never placed and Kayla had been fired. Kathleen, who I spoke to on the phone, was extremely kind and apologetic. She told me she would do all she could to find me a dress. Hopefully everything will get figured out. Weddings are stressful enough, us ladies shouldn’t have to deal with borderline criminal acts like this.

I’m a bridesmaid in a wedding in May 2015 and we ordered the our dresses from this location in November 2014. As months passed, we didn’t get many updates on the status of our dresses despite the bride following up with Kayla. After much back and forth, we were finally told that the dresses were being sent out the first week of April to each of our addresses. That time came and went, and our bride was contacted by the Chicago location yesterday(4÷10÷15) to notify her that our order was NEVER actually placed by Kayla. We also found out that the location was suddenly closed. Our bride was able to work with the Chicago location to get new, less expensive dresses for all of us in time for the wedding. This whole experience was very discouraging and added too much unnecessary stress to what should be a very exciting time for the bride and her friends & family. I hope that legal action is taken against Kayla for everyone that she ripped off and inconvenienced!

Horrible. Let me tell you a story. I am a bridesmaid in a wedding that takes place in less than 1 month. All of the bridesmaids ordered their dresses through the Milwaukee branch BB approximately 9 months out. The bride was told we would be getting the dressed March 1. March 1 came and went — no dresses. The bride called and emailed MULTIPLE times. At first she was reassured the dresses would be shipped directly to all the bridesmaids. But then communication was cut off completely. No response. Nothing. A month went by when the bride finally called another branch only to find out the MKWBB store never entered an order. WHAT?! Oh, but they did process all of our payments… still waiting for the refund. Moral of the story — this was a complete mess and a reflection of terrible customer service and unethical business practice. I will not be recommending Bella.

I am a bridesmaid and was told to order a dress through Bella Bridesmaids. The bride gave us a few dress options to pick from. My first thoughts of them was that their dresses were kind of expensive. I googled the dress options I was given and found cheaper ones on other websites. Also since I live in LA I had no option but to add on the only shipping option that cost $ 25. But I figured this was easiest for the Bride and went with it. We ordered the dresses in November and they were scheduled to arrive at the beginning of March. March 20th rolls around and still no dresses. The bride had to call so many times to even get an answer about when the dresses would be in. She finally got an answer that they were stuck in quality check and would be shipped as soon as they arrived. A few weeks later and still no word. The bride had to call again and again until finally her fiancé went in and found out the order was never placed. So here we are, 1 month until the wedding and no bridesmaid dresses. The bride was given the option to order some dresses from the Chicago Bella Bridesmaid but it was a different designer and they didn’t have the right sizes… so unfortunately we couldn’t actually go that route. We’re told we’ll be getting a refund, but a refund at this point gets us back to the beginning, only it’s 5 months later and too late to order bridesmaid dresses from anywhere else. I would not recommend this place.

Horrible customer service. She is a middle man, that will not help if your dress is wrong in any way, shape, or form. Much better quality and service at David’s bridal… sad to say but true!

When I was the maid of honor, the bride selected a dress that was at Bella Bridesmaid in Milwaukee. I lived in Chicago at the time so I went to the Chicago boutique for measurements and to try on dresses. The Chicago boutique was incredibly helpful and transferred my measurements to Milwaukee. Once the dresses came in, Bella scheduled an appointment the day before the wedding for all the bridesmaids to pick up the dresses and learn how to tie them. The employees were all incredibly helpful and kind, and they were patient with us as we tried 20 different ways to tie the dress. I looked at dresses here for my bridesmaids. They have a variety of prices, which is great. I would highly suggest this business!
