Again, I’m not extravagant… but I did find myself in Milwaukee, with a Coach Exclusive coupon in hand(that was about to expire), and a desperate need for a more suitable travel wallet. What’s a lady to do? Well, swing over to the mall close by, and peruse for an ideal solution, of course! My best friend and I were warmly greeted by an associate, and I explained what I was on the hunt for. She quickly ushered me to the items I expressed interest in seeing, and the shopping began. Within 10 minutes, I had chosen my item, and was ready to check out. At this point, the associate and my best friend had starting chatting, and found themselves in a continual conversation. No big deal… I started wandering around the rest of the store to check out their Spring inventory and other sale items. Moments later, I return to my best friend’s side, smiling to indicate I was ready to checkout. The associate didn’t take the hint. I looked over to her colleague, and she was busy helping two other patrons. Being the gracious lady my dear friend is, she too politely tried to hint perhaps I was ready to check out. After a total 45 minutes of this, the chick finally got it. We made our way to the checkout counter, and I indicated I also wanted to purchase the leather cleaner and moisturizer. But since the associate was still chatting up my friend, she didn’t pay attention, and failed to ring those items up at the same time. This resulted in losing discount on my additional purchases, which didn’t make me very happy. I decided not to argue the point; I was tired, and the store felt like it was 4,000 degrees. I just wanted out of there. I heart Coach, but I won’t be back to this store.
