Bought a Groupon to have them come clean for surprise anniversary party for my parents. After inquiring if they could make it out to my neck of the woods on a Sunday, they kindly wrote back that they would be able to and would be there at 11:00am sharp. Come the day of the party, and I get a call from the owner, Jesse, and one of his employees saying that they didn’t realize how far away the house was but that they’d be there by 11:30. Though frustrated because we only had a couple hours for my parents to be out of the house before they came back for the surprise, they said they could work on the high priority rooms and get them done in time.
11:45 rolls around and they still weren’t there. I called the cell number that they called me from and it went straight to voicemail. Every single time. I called the company the next day and still no answer. I knew I’d be able to get my money back through Groupon, so that was fortunate, but I have yet to hear from the company themselves with an explanation or apology. I have never written a Unilocal review before, but this actually compelled me to write one. I would never trust a company with such poor customer service to come into my home, and wanted to warn the public with my experience.
