My experience here exemplifies why I hate going to fast food restaurants in the hood. Employees there are generally too old to be working there for a living and to young to be working there for supplemental income. So what you get is the impression that they have no pride in their work or could care less about being there, and as a result the final product is often mediocre. I love the fast food places were the employees are either young high school/college students or older folks(50+). Anyways, while I’m in the middle of taking my order(midsentence, mind you) the cashier leaves the register to ask one of her co-workers to go across the street to buy her a burger from the Checkers across the street. I don’t blame her, the chicken for all three sandwiches I ordered was obviously not fresh and incredibly hard to chew(most likely due to sitting for hours on end under those heat lamps). I’m trying to think of one single redeeming this about this meal. Oh yeah… at least they didn’t mess up the potato wedges and the restaurant appeared clean. Waste of time and money. Never again.
