This deli is one of the best I have ever visited. Their selection is great every day with specials that rotate through the week. The side choices go well with any sandwich and the cheesecake is delicious. I’m glad it’s not far from work!

The owner, Tony, is a super nice guy and the food here was as perfect as always. Happier than ever to give him my business and I implore everyone else too also.

Pick a side I used to patronize Schulz’s a few times a week back when I had a real job. I’ve never stepped foot in Larry’s across the street, even with the tempting smells of the outdoor grill in the summer. Kurt Schulz offers some of the best sandwiches and sides I’ve ever feasted on along with the most friendly staff so there was never reason to wander. Their sandwiches(with a pickle) are loaded and come in at under ten bucks with your choice of side and drink. The deli display features a plethora of options and you can add on bags of chips and other baked goods. Trips up to the North Shore are few and far between for me these days so I was so excited to stop back in. I snagged some extra sides for my home crew and got thumbs up all around.

This is place sets the standard as a hometown deli sandwich joint. Stopped in because of the Unilocal reviews and I was happy that I did. The guy behind the counter was so friendly and basically made a sub that I wanted. I have a smoked turkey with cheddar… wow it was good. Fresh ingredients, meat was actually sliced while I was there, and on top of that… friendly service. Lots of chips and drink selections. All the sandwich toppings you could ever imagine. If you want spicy they jalapeños and Frank’s hot sauce behind the counter.

Amazing quality sandwiches, soups, and salads. The ham sub and roast beef on white are particularly impressive. The home made desserts are outstanding as well.

I am glad I stopped here. The owner is very friendly right when you walk in. Service is extremely fast so if you’re in a hurry you won’t get held up. I tried a chicken salad sandwich which was good but next time I’ll get it with onions. The chicken noodle soup and macaroni salad were both awesome! I also got an m&m cookie… delicious! I ordered too much food but it was well worth it. Looking forward to some yummy leftovers later. Everything is very reasonably priced as well. Don’t pass this place up!

I stopped here for lunch based on Unilocal reviews. The very first thing you notice is how friendly, I believe the owner, was. Makes you feel very welcome. I had a bowl of chili and a Reuben. The chili was home made. Not really Tex/Mex, more American but good. The Reuben was excellent. Overall the place is good. Nice atmosphere and good food. Maybe a tad expensive at $ 15, but good.

Went back today for the Ham sub. Still good but the beef has much more flavor, so I’d recommend the beef sub. Also, today the price was higher. $ 7.50 for the Ham sub. I draw the line at $ 7(at that is really pushing it for me) for a really good and fresh deli sub that is only 6 inches long and doesn’t include a side(small pickle spear doesn’t count). Today was my last sub at this deli, and maybe my last visit. The roast pork sandwich I had Monday was very dry and hard to swallow even with mayo and not worthy of the $ 5.75 price tag. There was a really long line today, so maybe I am in the minority on the sub pricing. Subs are good, just not $ 7.50 good, in my opinion.

This is a really nice little place that’s very wecoming and a very friendly atmosphere. The owner is all smiles and is very genuine. I had a ham sub, chicken soup, and a cup of pop with free refills for $ 12. All pretty tasty. Their chocolate cookies are a must! Only a dollar each and are freshly made and oh so very good. There’s some construction on the road out front at the moment, but there’s plenty of parking in the back. This place is worthy of return visits.

Yeah, it’s good alright. Let me start by walking you up the steps: you enter into what appears to be like a polish flat in the 1920s but it turns out it’s a deli. And boy is it good. I mean yeah it’s a sandwich, how can it be over the top? WELLITIS! Freshly sliced meat, and tied perfectly with your favorite slice of cheese. I got the rueben cause I was all like«ay I want some hot ass meat» and it was delightful. Honestly, you will come in only wanting a sandwich, and sit down with a tray full of 3 different items. And yo, get the cookies. They will put your mom’s to shame. Sorry mom. I love you. Just not your cookies. 4 out of 5 stars for making me feel like a kid again.

I used to stay away from delis because who wants to pay money for an overpriced sandwich? But after eating the sandwiches at this place, I’ve learned that ill never be able to make bomb ass sandwiches at home with my lunchables meat and that it’s totally worth it. The ham sandwich and the roast beef sandwich are both greaaat! 4.5÷5 for great sandwiches and opening my mouth to the world of delis.

This is kind of an interesting place. From the outside you’re really not too sure of what to expect. Let me tell you, just go in. The owner is friendly, the deli case is large with many options. Everything I have tried is superb. I am a huge fan of the chicken salad which also has hard-boiled eggs mixed in. This makes me feel like I am getting two salads for one. So back to the interior… there is plenty of seating. It’s homey. When people think of delis or catering in the area they always go to Larry’s, who I am the #1 fan of, but Kurt’s is good too, very good.

So good. So, so good. Stopped in for a corned beef sandwich and cookie for lunch, and was really impressed with everything. The two people working were extremely friendly, and the food was just delicious. I definitely look forward to coming back!

I kind of feel bad for this place, as they are directly across from Larry’s Market. This deli has its own appeal with a rustic, old school dining area, a friendly owner, and staff. They have a plethora of sandwich options, home soups, and many salad choices. Kurt’s chicken salad has hard boiled eggs mixed in, a very nice addition. Sometimes I stop at both delis just to be fair! Definitely a good spot if you’re looking for authentic and family-owned.
