Time to get those freckles checked out! Being a fair-​skinned non-​tanner, I’ve had my fair share of terrible sunburns in my day.
I set an appointment with Dr. Maguid after finding her through my insurance company, and they were able to get me in for an appointment within a couple weeks.
A heads up that her office is literally in Mayfair mall– Not in the shopping section, but in a special office section located in the back of the building. After you pass the shoe shine station, there are elevators to take up to the 4^th floor. I waited about 15 minutes in the waiting room, but once I was lead to a room to wait, the doctor came in within 5 minutes.
My impression of Dr. Maguid after my appointment is that she is very down to business, quick to hear problems and then solve them. If you’re the type of person who asks lots of questions and mulls over possibilities for a long time with your doctor, you might choose someone different. I asked her about my freckles and a larger patch of skin damage that I have, she spent a minute looking them over, then went to get liquid nitrogen, which she applied to the patch of skin damage that she described as «pre-​cancerous cells» that need to be destroyed. The whole encounter took less than 10 minutes total!
