Marquette Gyros

Marquette Gyro is legendary. What’s not to love about 2AM gyros and cheese curds after the bars? I have to admit, I’ve been here a few times sober and enjoyed it. The gyros are good, but I really like their cheeseburgers. The prices are also very cheap, which makes it that much more enticing when you’re feelin a little silly. The lines can very long on the weekends though, and things can get real rowdy. Keep that in mind if you’re thinking about coming here late night.

God people, you need to appreciate this place for what it is! Will this ever be a fine diner that you may take a date for a cheap dinner? Probably not! This is a place to go get drunk food. Who gives a cr*p if the bathrooms are gross!!! This is a great late night place.

Chicken Bacon Swiss
Curly Fries (with side of cheese)
Philly Cheese Steak — and people, trust me, I went 4 years without trying the cheesesteak before having it the last month of my senior year. It is pretty dam good.
The service is very nice, its a hard working family and the daughter helps out a lot, so does the little kid.

Very good burgers but I love the chicken shish kebob dinner. It comes with Greek salad, fries and delicious chicken, onions and fresh tomatoes in a warmed pita. It’s nice to sneak a little salad in with your fast food. I don’t know what it is, but their crinkle cut fries are so delicious. Yes, they’re just crinkle cut fries, but you have to taste them to truly, get it. Fairly cheap prices and the dining room is a little run down, but acceptable.

Being drunk, let alone unconscious, will NOT save you from the abomination that is Marquette Gyros. This place deserves no more of my words. Proceed with caution.

I like this place’s small-​business feeling, but the food really isn’t anything to get excited over. The gyros are good, the fries come out of a bag, and the place is passably clean. I’m still trying to figure out the hours. Sometimes it’s open when most restaurants are closed, and sometimes it’s closed when most restaurants are open.

This place gets a resounding meh. It’s great when wasted but if you go in for lunch don’t expect anything memorable

Nice alternative to cafeteria food. Not the greatest gyros I’ve had, but not bad. Disgusting bathrooms.

OK, so I may have went there QUITE a bit drunk and perhaps they don’t have the magical powers my eighteen yr old self believed, but honestly truly, the bestest burgers in the… north. The reason I started eating red meat again after 7 years (vegetarians BEWARE)
HUGE, like the size of my face. CHEAP, like 4 bucks for a huge cheeseburger fries and drink. Greasy floors, tables and gross bathrooms but its all part of the atmosphere…
I have had other random food but if you eat burgers, they wont disappoint. I miss a lot about Milwaukee, but Marquette Gyros MAY just take 1^st prize…
