Mr Shoe

Was early for dinner at The Pasta Tree, so decided on a whim to stop in here, and I am very glad I did! ALL shoes in the entire store were on a very deep discount, and there were many types to choose from. The store even carries women’s size 11, and they had a nice wall of dress shoes for men. Casual, dressy and club-​wear type shoes for women were all in stock. There’s also a clearance rack as well.
There were no other customers in the store, so the staff was very talkative, but in a good way. I had all the assistance I wanted/​needed. Would highly recommend, and will be back again soon!

Let me start by saying they do have a cute, fun, shoe collection. However, they are not high quality.
*I’ve been living in the area for 2.5 years. Every single day they have had a 70−80% of sale. Basically they hike up their prices, so the sale price is what the price should have been in the first place.
*I’ve been in there several times, and the sales person still has no idea that I’ve been in there before. Tries to tell me they have a big sale going on. News flash — you have a sale every single day.
*The sales people are not helpful, and annoying. Although they are friendly, they really have no fashion sense. While you’re browsing the store, they make annoying comments on how cute a shoe is, or that the shoe was just found in a Vegas shoe conference. Just let me shop in peace.
*Best quote I received from the sales guy — who was annoying and the typical sleazy sale man. «Oh, those boots are cute! They are on sale, they are normally $ 40!». Sale price? $ 39.99.

There are always lots of shoes on sale. The staff is attentive but not pushy. They can keep the prices low by keeping the décor and look of the place simple. Another reviewer complained about the lack of shelves: I think it keep the place open and feeling more spacious, and you can see all of the shoes from anywhere in the store. The hooker shoes are funny, and I enjoy trying them on just for fun. This is the only place I have found P.F. Flyers. Lots of Steve Madden too.

Oh Come On!
These shoes are crappy plastic pieces of junk that will last only a few months.
However I am always stunned at the number of women, my teen included, who will treat their feet so poorly. Cheap (cheaply made, cheap looking, cheap materials) seems to be the new black. There are even stacks of plastic platform boots with glitter thingys in the heel. Where do people wear these? I have never seen them on anyone, ever!
Now, I will say I like the guy who runs the place, he seems nice enough but it is for real, all about cheap, there aren’t even shelves for god’s sake, it is just stacks of boxes on the floor.
Have at it, but I will spend money on quality shoes made of better materials by companies with some statement on ethics and values, that will make it through the winter.

I’ve shopped at Mr. Shoe for years and had mixed experiences. Every once in a while I will find something very cool and different that I really want and I buy it. Then again… at the beginning of the summer, I went in looking for a very specific style and brand of shoe and got a great deal of pressure to buy things that weren’t even close to the style that I said I wanted repeatedly. The sales person did offer to order exactly what I wanted for me, but I explained that it wouldn’t do because I needed them to wear with a dress for an event in a few days. I have also found that «sale» items are often priced at pretty much what I would expect them to cost if they were not on sale (especially considering sometimes they are not name brand at all!) What really irritates me about this is that a «sale» pair of sandals might have the «original» price of a name brand pair of shoes’ actual sale price elsewhere. If I like the look, I get them, if not pooh! Mr Shoe is a place I will still check out even though certain things about the place really get to me. I’d rather go with a locally owned place like Mr Shoe than Payless anyday, but I could do without the fake sale pricing and the feeling that I’m sometimes being pressured to buy things I don’t want.

I am a huge fan of Mr. Shoe. They always have super cute styles at very affordable prices. I get more compliments on shoes I have purchased here than my name brand shoes. I can’t wait to visit their new Grafton location!

I’ve been shopping at Mr Shoe for probably 15 years. Always a diverse selection of styles and sizes. Love that they’ve opened a location in Grafton.

Sorry. I almost give this place just one star though I know it’s pretty popular for the eastsiders.
The shoes here mostly suck. Great sales, but sucky cheap shoes, especially for the guys.

i went to mr. shoe for the first time yesterday, and was shocked to learn that they carry TONS of vegan shoes. hooray! at the moment they have lots of adorable steve madden stilettos (with pointy toes in fun colors) in the window, and inside they had a great deal of variety. i was pleasantly surprised that almost every shoe i checked was vegan. who knew? not me!
anyhow, for the most part everything here is priced very reasonably (they had some amazing sales, too). they don’t carry any of the «big name» vegan shoes (like earth, novacas, vegetarian shoes, etc.), and so in that vein, it’s somewhat like going to a much hipper version of payless. i bought an adorable pair of mary janes yesterday, and i’ll definitely be going back to visit again.

It’s the Loris Designer Shoes of Milwaukee, but even cheaper! Awesome knockoffs of super trendy cute styles. There is always a sale here too! LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
