Penzeys is hard to figure out. Is it upscale? I mean you can get some really rare imported spices here. Is it reaching out to middle America wanna be cooks? Um this one is probably pretty accurate. Self proclaimed foodies unite and meet at Penzeys. While I’m there waiting for y’all I will be picking up some more of their taco seasoning. Oh and some of the Northwoods spice blend that goes great on everything. Grab a catalog for some good recipes and sometimes some coupons for free jars of spices. And don’t forget to bring the kids so they can color pictures by the pirate ship. I don’t always have an extra $ 20 to spend on spices but when I do i will come here.

The first thing you notice when you walk in to this store is you get hit with is the smells. A great store for anyone who loves to cook. Great prices for high quality products and they have so many different sizes to fit everyone’s needs. You can sample (sniff) the products. This location just opened at Midtown Shopping Center (56th and Capitol) its on the busline.
I recommend: signing up for the catalog or pick up one in store (which comes with killer recipes).
