This review is for Steve’s shuttle to the Brewers games. I caught it for the first time last week. My friend chose it because she said it was free. I’ve ridden a couple of Brewers shuttles and Steve’s delivers. In part, because the shuttles are non stop. I mean, one pulls up when the other leaves. This is probably because Steve’s is just minutes from the park! The drop off and pick up at the stadium is right in front. Cool! The bus was clean, used but taken care of. The bus driver was hilarious, stopping at a light, talking to his friend at Burke’s, getting out and running across the street and back all before the light turned green. Only in Milwaukee! Also, it’s fun to ride this shuttle because the bar’s nickname… SOB’s…is easily recgnizable. I will be back for the shuttle again, and next time I will check the place out!

This is my official stop on way to Brewer games from Madison to eat, drink and ride their complimentary shuttle to the door of Miller Park. Food is good, service is great [Renee}, and have always had a good time here…

The service and food in this place does not allow it to be categorized as a «dive bar». It should be categorized in the never visit this dump ever category. Two individuals in our party never received their order and we had to seek out the«waitress» at the end to pay so we could make it to the game. This normally wouldn’t be that big of an issue but we finished with our«meals» about a half hour prior to us seeking her out. The quality of the food was atrocious. This place sucks.

Went here twice in a row for the Monday happy hour special — $ 3 gyros or chicken pitas, Twice was told they didn’t have them. I suspect they’re running a bait & switch.

I’ll admit I’m biased. I was destined to like this place since my sister in law is a bartender there and SOB’s seems to be a second home for my Milwaukee family. But that being said I would like this place anyway. It’s a dive bar, totally unpretentious, and fun. This place is crawling with all walks of life, I saw a girl there who was doing some serious man hunting — I thought her boobs were going to fly out. I also had a very not-hot guy try to impress me with his white guy dance moves. There are darts, billiards, a nice jukebox. The bathrooms are nice for a bar and the prices are totally reasonable. SOB’s is just a fun place to hang out and drink.

«I’ll take a jamo, jack, and a high life. He’ll have a Stella, but in an American glass.» Three shots of Beam and a Guiness later we realized this bartender either didn’t speak English, had an affinity for our easy-going-ness, or had an ability to just not care that was steadily approaching Big Lebowski type proportions. Either way, this dude abides. I really can not tell you if this is a sports bar, a ye olde pub, or something more prolific. What I can tell you is that you will enjoy the randomness and the genuine awesomeness of some great peeps living the good life in Sconny nation. I will be back to have a third and fourth go round during my next Miller Park visit just to be sure I get the full effect. All in all, this is a nice place to grab a few or bear hug thirty. In either case, the laid back atmosphere of the early evening crowd is a solid class to consume beverages or food items with.

S.O.B. is a pretty average bar. The interior is dark and wood paneled with plenty of dart boards and pool tables. The food is pretty average – the pizzas and fried apps seem frozen, but, apparently the fish fry is tasty. It doesn’t really have enough tv’s to be considered a sports bar, but it’s filled with sports fans since it’s so close to Miller Park. After the games it gets pretty crowded. But, one especially nice thing is that S.O.B.‘s has their own van, the«Brew Crewser,» that takes you to and from the game for free.
