There’s customer service is completely incompetent. Everytime we’ve call with an issue they have no idea what’s going on and just tell you come in and do it in person. My husband is military and were stationed overseas and they just tell us there’s nothing they can do. They treat their military customers like absolute shit. Horrible, horrible, horrible service, save your energy and money and just go with a real phone company.

Valet parking for a downtown shop? Right on! One star for that right away. The next star goes to a clean environment and free cookies! So far so good. That is until you meet the customer service representatives… these people are there solely for new accounts and corporate accounts… they will not give you any time of day if you are on a family plan or upgrading. I do not subscribe to us cellular — I merely witnessed the poor service provided to a dear friend. He was ignored, insulted, denied, and turned away without explanation — mind you he is a current customer! It was awful. Think twice about us cellular in MKE… especially since a Verizon with the best people ever are just down the road!

I have been a customer for over 15 years… I have never had a reason to switch to another carrier becasue the value is great, I can get coverage in Vegas, Arizona, up north, etc. never had a dropped call, etc, etc. All that aside, I am SERIOUSLY thinking of finding a new carrier because of my recent experience at this store. I walked in on a Sat afternoon, all employees were busy with customers, I put my name on what semed to be a sign-in sheet near the front door. And I waited, and waited as one by one the employees finished with their customers, only to walk right past me and ignore me over and over and over! I waited over 10 minutes trying to make eye contact only to have the employee look away until I felt sufficiently humiliated at which point I stormed out of the store and not only will I never go back there, but the 17 family memebers I talked into US Cellular will never go there! It’s been almost 4 days since this happened and my blood pressure is STILL rising as I type this. If you want GREAT service from a US Cellular store, go the one in the strip mall on Howell Ave near Woodmans in Oak Creek! Now those employees ROCK the customer service world!

Love this company and the downtown location. I’ve always gotten good service here, and US cell as a company has great coverage and reception.

Next time I head north, I’m taking two soup cans and a really long piece of string… This is really an indictment of US Cellular in general and not specifically this location. I have been shackled to US Cellular for nearly six years. It was forced on me when my employer handed me a Blackberry(don’t get me started on Blackberries… that’s a whole nother rant). In that time we have been screwed into accepting three blackberry upgrades; all of which we have paid for, two contract renewals, and the intro of 3G and supposedly 4G service. We have had the 4G capability for at least 6 months and have yet to reap its benefits. I work for a large company. Very large. At large as it gets in this state. WHYTHEHELLDOWEPUTUPWITHCRAPPRODUCTSANDCRAPCOVERAGE??? US Cell pushes the crackberries on us because of their«network security» blah blah blah… Don’t we already have enough of that? We don’t make the most of the Enterprise software anyways, so what’s the point? It seems like US Cell chained themselves to RIM products(Blackberries) a long time ago and need to push this crap on their customers. My most recent irritant with US Cellular is its coverage. I live and work in Milwaukee, so for that area, US Cell is very good. Quite frankly, its the only reason why they get two stars. I haven’t had a single dropped call in Milwaukee ever. I can get reception in basements, hallways, and even elevators. Swell. However, try driving north of Milwaukee about 150 miles and forget about it. On a recent trip to the great north woods of WI, I lost coverage the second I hit the north end of Stevens Point and did not get it at any point through Wausau, Minoqua, Hayward, or Bayfield. Yes US Cellular, I see your point. No one lives in those communities, right? Why serve them? Thank God I could pick up Wi-Fi nearly anywhere in these same towns. At least I could occasionally read emails… Ugh, I wish my employer would get with the times and move on… maybe to Verizon. A company that hasn’t forgot that people in WI do live north of Stevens Point.

This location on Water doesn’t exactly represent the great level of service I usually get from US Cellular over the phone, but in a pinch it gets the job done. I’ve gotten help from very knowledgeable staff — to help from nearly incompetent staff. In the end of the day — I say just give em a call. Steer clear of any store — it seems they end up making you call anyway.

I have been to this location of US Cellular multiple times for countless phone issues. The sales associates there are generally extremely nice and eager to help me. I can’t say as much however, for the service department… I was there standing behind a man who was on his phone talking about his weekend plans for about 10 minutes until I finally had to say«Excuse Me» for him to realize I was standing there. But instead of rushing to get off the cell phone he put 1 finger up at me telling me to hang-on as he finished his convorsation(another 4 minutes) To which I said«fix this» then let me speak to your manager. Ranting aside, the store is cleanly, they have ALL working demos of phones and have a wide selection of accessories at this particular location so I will have to say that this review is tricky because i’m pleased with my experience but will not be going back to the service department.

Quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever had. Signed up with them when I was at a former job and during the sign up process the salesperson made a number of promises about the billing which were not true. The billing ended up screwed up and I got stuck with the first several months bills instead it being billed to my company and I had to eat those charges because US Cellular made the mistake. During my time with US Cellular, they also made repeated billing mistakes on my bill — usually to calls I never made(my company required me to keep a log of my company and personal calls). Issues with my cell phone as well and they were not helpful. I am now with Verizon and love Verizon’s service.
