Found hair on my food 4 peaces of hair I use to like this place everything taste like cigarettes The place is dirty nowadays.

Best bagel shop that I know of in the area. The taylor ham is the best & the bagels are great as well!

In the area for a wedding. Well worth a short drive from Courtyard. Real Bagels made the correct way at a reasonable price!

I was not a fan. Bagels were doughie and sticky. This was not my best experience and the cream cheese with veg was just okay. Not awful, but this is NJ. I want extraordinary. Also, service was bit like I was supposed to know what I wanted walking in. Wasn’t sure about it, took some time, and they made fun of me. Which is a pretty Jersey thing to do, so I don’t count it as a negative. Just thought I’d get a real Jersey style batch of bagels to go with the Jersey style sass. Might try it again to see.

Been here like 4 times now. Every time I find the bagel here extremely salty, sometimes even big undissolved salt granules. Yuk.
Very mediocre everything bagel, nothing to talk about. Coffee tastes more like warm bitter water. No place to sit inside. Do yourself a favor and find your breakfast somewhere else.

This little bagel shop is one of the crowning jewels of Mine Hill… okay probably the only one, but bottom line… its good. This place is not what one would call tidy-​it is quite un-​appealing cleanliness wise but I promise you the food is excellent. They obviously are clean enough to pass inspection and health standards so look past the grime and just order a bagel. There really isn’t much to say except every breakfast sandwich and/​or bagel I have ever gotten there is excellent. Their lunch sandwiches and specials are okay but you get a lot of bang for your buck and it really is just delicious food. Aside from the cleanliness issue the only problem I have with this place is the fact that on Saturdays and Sundays, they close at 1pm… Do they not realize you would do tremendous business if they stayed open even a few hours later until 3pm? Either way its tremendous food.

Is it a little, uhm, not clean? Yes. Is it delicious? ABSOLUTELY! I used to travel 30 mins for a good bagel. When I moved into the area I was ready to start a new search, and here it is.

Awesome bagels ! Everyone I know that moves out of the area/​state is always posting how they want to grab breakfast here. Friendly fast service and the orders are always right.

I can only surmise that my fellow reviewers do not know what a good bagel tastes like.
These are hard and not at all delicious. Also, the place looks like it hasn’t been cleaned since Truman was in office. Try to keep your eyes locked on the person serving you. The background looks like a set from a horror film. Actually, the whole town of Mine Hill is kinda creepy.
Stop here only if you’re starving or your taste buds were burned off in a Soviet prison.

This place could be sooooo much better if they just cleaned. The bagels are very good, but it always looks like they haven’t cleaned the place in years. I live within walking distance from here, but sometimes on a Sunday morning when I’m craving a bagel I’ll go to dunkin donuts (which has terrible bagels, but is clean) for my fix.

By far the best bagels you’ll find anywhere… or friends from Florida still ask about this place.

Anyone who’s been to Dover, NJ area (not Delaware), the VERY best and tastiest bagels with eggs/​cheese is actually in Mine Hill: Bagels on the Hill. The VERY best in all of NJ (I haven’t tried Hoboken area yet). They also have delicious homemade salads (egg salad, chicken salad, macaroni, etc) They sure know how to cook and make our stomachs happy and fulfilled! People are always going there for breakfast and lunch. I believe they close around 3. You gotta go there and see for yourselves, they also make muffins, very good! Clean and friendly people.
No seatings… good for To Go only… this place does need a make-​over tho… looks like it was in the 70’s…but gotta try their bagels with eggs n cheese, outta this world!
