JV Style Nail & Spa

I needed an emergency mani-​pedi on a Saturday morning because 1) I forgot that I was going to need to get one done that day and 2) the place I get my hair done was completely booked. I walked a little farther up Jericho Turnpike and consulted Unilocal to find out where a nail place might be.
JV Style Nail & Spa was completely empty when I got there, but it looked clean and the board outside was advertising some sort of mani-​pedi special. When I got in and asked the only woman in the store about the mani-​pedi price, the amount she quoted me was different from the board price. But then I spotted a stack of coupons with the same price, and she said I could use one now. She also gave me a stack on my way out, but I think they all expired on ¹²⁄₃₁. I’d keep my eye out for more.
The woman who did my nails was really sweet and professional. She did an excellent job. I was especially satisfied with my pedicure. She made my toenails look very nice and the polish was still completely intact two weeks later. I thought the manicure was a little less well done, but I did choose a much lighter color for my nails, which often polishes unevenly.
The salon was very clean and all of the tools looked clean and sanitizied. I was a big fan of the massage chairs for the pedicures, but I do wish that I was positioned better for the neck massage feature to work better.
One down side to the place is that their polish selection was not very large. They had a fair amount of Essie, but not a lot of OPI or other brands. I also noticed some Wet n Wild colors, which I like at home, but not necessarily when I’m at a salon.
Overall, I would definitely go back, especially for another mani-​pedi special! I’d like to try out the spa manicure and pedicure as well.

Great work, great people, great service and great prices. Highly recommended. Good quiet peaceful setting and the massage chairs are heaven. Would definitely recommend to a lot of people.

Overall I liked this salon! It’s one of the very few nail salons that actually looks clean and chic around the area. The lady who did my mani and pedi was very sweet also. I would definitely come back. She said they do $ 15 mani-​pedis on Monday and Wednesdays! Will go back with my friends! I wish I could bye their groupon again though=X
The only annoying thing was this lady who was complaining about waiting for 10 mins to get her nails done. Like chill woman. Loll but they handled it nicely.
