I have lived in two different apartments in this building, I love this place. Its a very basic old brownstone building. It is in the quiet part of downtown near the basilica. Lunds, the bulldog, buca’s and other great places are within walking distance. The apartments have built in dressers and wardrobe areas, which helps if you have a studio or efficiency like myself. I also have a parking space I rent from Laurel Village. Great attentive staff too!

I moved here after living on 4th near the bar scene and found a great corner unit that was affordable and quiet. I am now leaving because I purchased a condo. Rent was very cheap for the area and it included most utilities. Once the Lund’s across the street is done being constructed, this area will be even more convenient. Right on major bus lines, near downtown Target and the light rail. I was able to get around without a car during my year living there and kept my bike in the designated storage area of the basement. They did not charge me pet rent or a deposit for my cat. Lots of built in storage and character and the floors are solid so you don’t hear much from the people above you. The people that live in the building are a mix of young and old. I did not have any issues with neighbors being noisy that lived around me. The maintenance team was very responsive to my requests for repairs and there is an onsite manager that works in the front office to accept packages while you are at work. There was a minor fiasco at the end with the termination of my lease which was going to have my rent extended an extra month but management let me get out of it.
