The perfect stop for beer, whiskey, and food! Not the main stream lame high dollar bars in Minneapolis. Down to earth, solid place to hang out and get food and drinks. Defiantly a worth while stop through the north loop!

Cuzzy’s is definitely a hole-in-the-wall — and as long as you go in with those expectations, this place delivers. Good, reasonably priced bar-fare. Great service. Lots of TVs and loud music.

Sorta divey joint with average bar food. They have their own parking lot, that’s a bonus. You walk into a dark open space with the bar to the right, tables that are mix matched in sizes along the left. Dollar bills with little messages are taped and tacked everywhere. I found it a bit off putting. I’m trying to eat but these bills are in my face with the words bitch, penis, virginity, and varies other inappropriate verbiage. Don’t get me wrong, I spew my fair share of profanities, I just don’t want to see it when I’m eating. Felt dirty. I tried their«cuzzy dip,» roast beef with au jus, comes with chips. Nothing great here, but the chips were nice and crunchy. They may have been house made. I also had a mushroom soup that was decent. The server was nice, a little slow, but she did her job. The beer was cold. I’m not rushing back, but it’s an alright spot.

If you are looking for the perfect dive– stop by Cuzzy’s in the North Loop. Great for breakfast, lunch or Crab Weds! Great view of the city from the patio.

dollars are lame, but guess it’s retirement for the owner. solid food & service. other patrons are very chill/friendly. recommendation to try cuzzys came from the bartender at fulton brewery, so you know the place had to be good. Wooden laminate bar with no rail. Large black padded barstools with no back support. Enough TVs to watch the big game.

Dined for lunch on the outdoor patio. Walked through the inside… Definitely a dive. I’m not typically a fan of dives, but I can appreciate. Was greeted with hellos and smiles by three staff on our way to the patio. The service was fast and friendly. Very, very good, actually. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger and added lettuce, tomato & onion. It was big, it was juicy, it was good and it hit the spot. BOTTOMLINE: If you’re looking for a «gastronomical experience», move on. However, if you dig a dive, a good burger, friendly service, and a fun atmosphere at a fair price, this is it.

Stopped in after a Twins game. Great dive bar vibe, but good table service. Beers were not that cheap, though. $ 13 for a weird squat pitcher of Coors Light(is that even 64oz?) and maybe $ 6 for a pint of fancier stuff. Food was alright.

fun atmosphere and good fried food. stuff is probably mostly frozen but what do you expect? They’ve got a good sized parking lot and we were hungry after a long and tiring kayaking trip. got fried fish, curly fries, buffalo chicken wrap, and beer. waitress was quite nice and the place was a good addition to our MN trip!

At first appearance Cuzzys is divey, but is actually a really cool, no nonsense bar with food. Lots of good beer on tap, strong drinks, neighborhoody vibe.

Surprisingly great food at bargain prices. They even have a patio and free parking. Nice dive in the middle of several up scale competitors.

Really dig Cuzzys. There’s a lot to love here– the divey vibe, the fact that you can stop in here post-fancy cocktails at a North Loop hotspot for a good ol’ beer, the dollar bills all over the walls, the relatively cheap for North Loop prices. They have some really good burgers(one time I sat at the bar and watched the Crossfit Games, enjoying burgers and wings in an act of self pity #becauseimworthit). I really enjoy going here as a stop before we head somewhere crazy like Club Jäger(thumbs up) or The Loop(thumbs down), because you can actually find a seat and carry a conversation. Service is always really friendly, even on the busy weekends. Every time I’m drunk here I feel the need to order the tater tots, which are like five bucks and could probably feed a family of five. Seriously, this is a mountain of MN spud goodness. If you haven’t been to Cuzzy’s yet, I would definitely recommend it. As North Loop gets yuppier and yuppier, Cuzzy’s remains it’s own special place.

Cuzzy’s has to be one of the more unusual bars we’ve seen in quite awhile. But actually it was a fun place. Very much a sports bar with lots of TV’s going with anything to do with NHL/NCAA hockey &NBA/NCAA basketball. The really great thing tho was that the hype we’d heard about their hamburgers & fries was well deserved. And the service was great. Never saw the bottom of anything we were drinking. But the burgers, those were REALLY good. All kinds of clever names for a big selection of different burgers to choose from. Ours were excellent. They were good sized but my wife and I both finished ours off which is unusual for us. We’re long past woofing our food down in world record time. These burgers were well worth going slow with. Great bar & burger place. Better than most for sure. And don’t forget to closely check out their wallpaper…

One of my favorite burgers in town. Highly recommend the house burger with tots. Great staff!

Cuzzy’s is not only a fantastic dive bar, but it also pushes out a shocking amount of quality food. And yes, I do use the word«quality» loosely. From tater tots, to burger meat clearly prepared from prepacked meat tubes, you’d expect the food to be bad but for whatever reason, it’s not! The burgers are DELICIOUS and perfectly cooked to order, and the service is welcoming and friendly even if you’re not a regular. Cuzzy’s has been pushing out quality drinks and food for a long time, and I hope they are around forever. For whatever it’s worth, for what they are pushing out, it’s perfect. Great drinks, and great food at a reasonable price. One star just for the dollar bill encrusted walls and atmosphere.

We love the food at Cuzzy’s and it’s a great dive bar, but it’s SO dark and small inside. And don’t get me wrong, I’m all about dive bars. But for some reason I just don’t love going here unless it’s nice enough to sit outside on the patio.

Thumbs up from the dive-seekers. Cuzzy’s is an awesome place to hang out. Definitely a dive bar, but typically with plenty of seating for groups. What makes it great is its location — it’s in north loop area, which has a bunch of trendy/hip places. Sometimes you need to escape from the dudes with cooler haircuts than you and hang with some normal guys in plain white tees. Definitely good for a relaxed hang out with friends, but if you’re looking for something more rowdy, you’re better off going somewhere like the Loop/Tangiers. if you’re looking for something more trendy/hip, you’re better off going to some place like Marvel.

A friend and I were here a couple weeks ago for lunch on a Saturday. We were hungry and I said I wanted a «pub burger & fries.» Unfortunately(although I didn’t know it at the time) I was coming down with a cold, so I only wound up having a few bites of my burger before I felt full. On the plus side: our waitress was attentive, the food is reasonably priced, and you pay the same price if you order the curly fries! The only negative comment I would make is that the length of the bar runs on a slight downward incline, but most people probably don’t notice it because the drop in grade is so slight. I will definitely return to Cuzzy’s in the future, ‘cuz he’s got a nice place.

Great place to drink, it’s a hole in the wall bar in a neighborhood full of trendy cocktail places. Their tap selection isn’t anything to get excited about, but they have some good local crafts as well as the millers of the world. The foods good. I’ve been most impressed with the burgers, but the rest of it’s not bad. Don’t come here expecting anything fancy though, it’s greasy as all hell, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want. Also, they have a patio in back.

Why can I not appreciate a dive bar? Everyone else seems to love Cuzzy’s. I just see a dark and dreary place, a cave plastered with doodled-up dollar bills, that could use some cheering up. I will complement the server, who didn’t seem like the most personable young woman initially, but she was thoughtful and attentive. I was not drinking and she thought to bring me a glass of water without requiring a request.
