i have been using donato’s for many years. i moved out of the area but when i needed flowers i would still use them. recently i needed some flowers for a funeral so i called donato;s because i was told they were doing the flowers for the funeral. i ordered my 75.00 flowers which was fine but what surprised me was the 19.00 delivery charge. now i know there are delivery charges out there but was i paying for the whole funeral spread to be delivered or was everyone who ordered flowers charged the same amount for delivery? did i pay for them to deliver the flowers for the funeral as well or were those people charged delivery too? anyhow, like i said, never had a problem with them but for some reason this really bothered me

if you are planning a wedding, i would not recommend this place. it’s ok if you will use their space to make your own arrangements, but do not count on amazing customer service. also, some of the orders for bouquets and garlands were done completely wrong and very cheaply(ruined the videography/pictures/ceremony– had to keep adjusting) — definitely not worth the costs. lots of added expenses to the bill.

7÷21÷2012 I ordered flowers to be sent to my daughter for Aquatenial week — she was a candidate. I was deciding between the ‘Good Luck’ bamboo plant and the ‘Basket full of Wishes’ & decided to go with the flowers. Not only were the flowers NOT in a BASKET nor did they contain a butterfly, but they were a variety of colors– NOT all YELLOW!!! To top it off, I not only gave her the names of the products I was interested in, but the product number! She even described back to me what they were!!! She had said«I can tell you what others are sending» but I never agreed to change what I wanted. She obviously took it upon herself to decide for me because, in her words. «Those girls don’t water anything!» PISSEDINTHELEAST! If This happened at my place of business we’d be redoing it for free! I was going to call & complain, but my daughter doesn’t want me to because she said«It’s the thought that counts.» I should have just ordered on line– at least I would have gotten what I paid for! NEVERAGAIN!!!

All around bad experience. I ordered flowers for my mother’s birthday. The lady that took the order was unpleasant at best… it always amazes me when customer service is poor in a SERVICEORIENTEDBUSINESS. I placed the order for a $ 50 bouquet and I specifically said«NOROSES.» When my mom emailed me to thank me with a picture, I was upset for several reasons: 1) it was filled with… yes, ROSES; 2) it definitely did not look like a $ 50 bouquet; 3) When I called unhappy they did not offer any suggestions as to how to correct the problem. They made excuses: «We were busy» was their response. Never again ordering from Do-NOT-o’s.

Back in October I called to order flowers for a very sad and unique occasion. The woman on the phone was so understanding helpful. She even went to the back and found an angel ornament to include with the flowers. The plant was stunning and even when the its gone, the angel will remain as hope for my friend. I will use this place again for quick orders, kind service and great quality flowers!
