I had received an invitation to come check out Healthwise last summer (2014). I was going through some horrible plantar fasciitis pain. At the time, they were offering a free KT taping. I have always wanted to try it and what better way to do so. The lady who taped my foot explained in detail and also advised that I come back and try a graston treatment. (I had missed the free session) I made an appointment and saw Dr. Heckman the following day. Let me tell you, for my plantar fasciitis, the graston treatment worked! I went home that same day and almost didn’t notice that I was finally pain free after a year and a half. I had a few more sessions after that. With a follow up session about 2 months later. My plantar fasciitis has flared up few times in the last year. Recently, I went to call to make another follow up graston treatment and, to my surprise, found out that Dr. Heckman was no longer there. I haven’t been able to find another doctor in my area that uses graston, just as friendly, courteous and professional.
However, I did win a free full body massage, which also was my first time. It was good but I was really sore afterwards.
