House of Hui’s Restaurant

Visited at the suggestion of my bff. She’s a huge fan of hui and said this is just what I need on a Sunday to start my week off right! Upon arrival I was greeted and promptly seated. The owner explained that hui available in 3 sizes — small med and large. I was relieved to have so many choices! Started the meal w an assortment of Chinese delicacies including delish meatballs in some sort of white sauce — (tasted a little like sweet and sour;). must say this is the best hui in town. Will definitely be returning for more hui soon!

Service is terrible. There is a older white man who works there and he was very rude when I called to place a delivery then when my food came after an hour I called them, the same older white man on the phone came and delivered the food then was very rude by saying «where’s the money» acting as if I’m a criminal. Then I pulled out a lot of hundred dollar bills and he was like «What the fuck why didn’t you say you had nothing but hundreds when you called». But luckily I had a few 20 dollar bills in there and then continued by saying «If your going to order, you need to let us know to bring Fucking change». For that I gave him absolutely NO TIP when I usually tip very well. Then I go to eat my food and it was cold as hell and then they messed up on my order giving me only rice and noodles when I had also order sesame chicken and fried wontons and the total for everything was $ 32 dollars including the $ 7 delivery charge. There ain’t no way Fried Rice and Lo mein is $ 32 dollars but they insisted it was which was a lie when I had told him on the phone exactly what I had wanted and made him repeat the order before I hung up the phone. So I had called them back and a young Chinese guy picked up, which he had a little attitude problem (not as bad as the older white man) and I asked them to give me my correct order or I need my money back which he said I can get my money back but I had to come up there and get it which i did so but they said they can’t refund the $ 7 delivery charge after they provided horrible service or didn’t even try to give me the sesame chicken and wontons that I ordered. The reason why this place deserves 1 stars is because the food is Decent except the last time I ordered when they messed up bad and the food was cold and the delivery took longer then an hour when I was only 5 minutes away. If you don’t mind bad service, then I would eat here since the food isn’t aweful.
