Rich gives a good cut at a good price. His place is a small single chair operation, and he usually has people stopping in just to say hello. Rich can discuss the area (grew up in this neighborhood), fixing every kind of motor, a musician and lover of music. He is a good guy with a good personality. I have had my hair cut at many local barbers, and he is the best. Just be prepared to have to come back, being this is a walk-​up operation.

I have been coming here for 7 years since we moved to the neighborhood. Rich is a great guy and gives an even better haircut. if you want a good old school barber shop this is your place.

Rich is a very nice guy. He made me feel comfortable. I wouldn’t say he fawned over me, as the other reviewer said, but he didn’t ignore me.
When I got there, there were 3 people ahead of me, so he said I could go wander around and kept my place in line.
I came back sooner rather than later and listened to the banter between guys who obviously came their often (one of them was Rich’s cousin and one was just chilling there).
The prices listed in the old review are still valid.
I would recommend coming here (at least if you’re a guy who doesn’t need fancy haircuts), since you can go next door to Rainbow or over to Blockbuster (or Cash-​n-​Pawn, if that’s your thing) if there’s a long wait.
Rich also uses this cool red head massager thing, that really makes me want to go find one… I guess it’s for getting rid of loose hair, but it also feels really good.
