I have been here a few times and every time I come in the staff is extra friendly. They always have sales, you can’t beat the prices. This is the best place to buy micro brews in downtown, the huge beer cooler, cools you off in the summer and warms you up in the Minnesota winter. Great selection and great service !

Unbeatable location right in the center of downtown, makes for a quick liquor run after work but before going out a breeze. New to town, this place saved Meg and I when hosting our housewarming party. One stop for everything we need with the Lunds grocery next door! Tip for craft brew lovers: Mix and Match 6-pack for $ 9.99 lets you choose any 6 craft brews — phenomenal selection of beers and for the gluten-free(like Meg!) ciders are an option. Check out their Oktoberfest varieties– great option for a fun party gift = insta-friend maker and conversation starter

Visiting Minneapolis for work, I needed a place to get local craft beer to bring back home. Lund’s Wine Market fit the bill almost perfectly! They had an amazing selection of craft beers from Minnesota and beyond. I first hit the warm beer section. They had one aisle that was nothing but large bottles(bombers and 750mLs). I picked up a few goodies there, then ventured on to the six packs. The selection was overwhelming, but one of their friendly staff helped me pick some gems(along with some help from reviewers I trust on ). There is also a large wall of single cans and 12oz bottles, so feel free to make a mixed six pack or two! There’s a small cooler in that section too that holds their cold bombers. I was able to find a bomber of Surly Smoke up there, which was great. I got a little nervous when I didn’t notice any other Surly beers, but the aforementioned nice lady told me that they were all in the cooler. Boy, they were! There were 5 – 6 different Surly beer 4-packs in the cooler, and most were on sale too. The cooler held a large selection, but I had noticed most of those were also in the warm beer section, and I was nearing $ 100 for my purchases so far, so I decided to stop there. I asked another employee if they had a scale so I could weigh my haul and make sure it wouldn’t put my luggage over my airline’s limit, but unfortunately they didn’t. She did help me add up the approximate weight though, which was nice. Come check out Lund’s. The selection, prices, and staff are all top notch!

Everything about Lunds Wine Market is excellent: location, quality, variety, design and customer service. Located downtown next to the new Lunds, its convenient. Every time I walk in, I’m greeted by the well dressed and friendly staff. They are always more than willing to give you suggestions or point out current sales they have. I’ve come in on an occasion where they had a BOGO special on a particular brand of wine. As I stood and mulled over the nine varieties they had, I was asked if I’d like to sample some.(Um, yes please!). Little did I know that I would sit down for a ½ glass sample of each of the NINE wines. The gentleman behind the counter explained each variety and asked me what I thought. It was really helpful to get to know some of the flavor differences and to be sure that I was buying wines that I actually liked! I also really like the mix and match 6 pack option. They have so many beers that I’m curious about so it’s fun to go in and get a sample pack. The prices are average, but depending on the current sale, it’s very likely you’ll be walking away with a good deal. Overall, the staff is phenomenal, the space is gorgeous, and they fulfill all my adult beverage needs!

I am so happy Lunds Wine Market has come to the neighborhood! They have a great selection! I’ve been able to find all sorts of things that aren’t found anywhere and everywhere. After a recent trip to Scotland, the BF discovered he liked Hendricks gin, but feared he’d have trouble tracking it down here in the States. Not so… thanks to Lunds, it was lurking only blocks away! They have a walk-in beer cooler that is seriously frigid if you’re wearing shorts and a tank in the Summertime, but it means all my favorite brews can be found«ready-to-drink» for when I stop by last minute on my way to a BYOB gathering. They also don a build-your-own six pack wall with a great selection of micro brews. I know to some, that is not a new concept, but it’s something I’d only heard about before my first visit here. The staff has always been super helpful too and they know their inventory well. Once I called to see if they carried a particular item, and not only did the guy know right away that they had it, but he knew it was on sale too! You might assume that they have high prices, but honestly, I can’t say I’ve noticed it. Maybe so compared to stores in the burbs, but they’ve got the best prices in this neighborhood, and a giant parking lot(giant for Downtown anyway)!

Good on you, Lunds. It’s really something in here. The first thing you notice is that they put plenty of free parking downtown(what is this wizardry?!). And the second thing is that the outdoor seating(where you can eat your grab ‘n’ go lunch) is really nice. The third thing is that the selection of beer kicks ass. I went straight for the build-your-own 6-pack section and luckily the super knowledgable Tabetha was there to answer just about every question I had about everything. I think we chatted about beer for a straight 15 minutes and she recommended some amazing things that I’ll have to file away in my brain for later since they couldn’t all fit into my 6-pack. I didn’t broach the wine, so I can’t comment on that yet, but the liquor section has the three main things I want in a liquor selection: Bulleit Bourbon, Prairie Organic Vodka and Death’s Door Gin. Woo.

The place is very pleasing to the eye! Their walk in cooler is massive. They have make your own six pack for those who want to try something new and dont want to commit to buying 6 of something they don’t know if they’ll like or not. Plus there’s a TON of parking in their lot. Lunds really did a great job with this and the detached grocery store. Brilliant.

It opens tomorrow, I got a sneak peek. They’ve got it all — a Cold Beer Vault, a Micro Brews Room, a Tasting Bar and of course, all of your favorites are here, if not ask ‘em and if you ask nicely, they might just order it for you.
