This is a nice café and pretty good atmosphere, kinda gets crowded at times and can use a lot more space. But otherwise good. The greeter is really friendly and seats us right away. The music selection is alright at times too. But beware of the Sudanese waitress, she’s very rude and cold she makes you throw away your drinks, that’s not the least. She doesn’t believe in customer service period and forces you to pay even if you don’t agree with price. Otherwise great Cade and great staff!

Place is like a concentration camp. You have to smoke the hookah if you come and only two people can smoke a hookah at once. Uneven parties are not seemingly welcome, horrible set up for an inviting atmosphere. Plus there’s an extremely creepy drawing of a man staring at you behind the register.

The shisha is very nice and they use top notch products– coals, shisha, hookah, etc. Coco Nara coals are the default. However– it’s very strict and unfriendly. They are very serious about their restriction of two per hookah, which I understand for weekends, but is a bit absurd for slow weekdays.

Mohammad the owner is the bomb, extremely hospitable. Great hookah and tobacco. Coffee and teas are endless! This is my new hangout when I come to MN. Thanks Moe!

The sheesha is awesome. The customer service is horrible. Very racist owner who tells African American people(especially African American men) to leave — he provides reasons like«my whole shop has been reserved,» or «we are closing in just a few minutes,» but then he will let other customers come in. While the sheesha is very good, I cannot support racist policies like this.

I was brought here once to try smoking hookah for the first time and lets just say I left a big fan. I haven’t smoked in the café other than that one time but I bought my first hookah and restocked on shisha and coals there for a very long time. The customer service here is great, and like stated before the owner is friendly and always there. The workers and owners always remembers me and makes me feel extremely welcome. I would take anyone new or old to hookahing to this place. The only reason I won’t rate them a 5 is because I feel their supplies are pretty pricey, other than that it’s a great place that I would recommend to anyone.

I absolutely love Pyramid. It is a locally owned hookah/shisha establishment in Minneapolis. Pyramid used to be a restaurant with hookah, but since the banning of smoking in restaurants, it has become a premium hookah/shisha establishment. I have been to Pyramid countless times with friends. The owner is always there, checking in on our table, making sure we have enough hot coals, and chatting with us. He is the sweetest man and one can tell he is incredibly proud of his culture and heritage, which is easily identifiable in the beautiful artwork on the walls and all he has put into this establishment. His staff knows what they are doing and are incredibly helpful if you have any hookah/shisha questions. I have been and will continue to be a faithful costumer of Pyramid. If you enjoy hookah/shisha it’s a winner! *Also, be sure to bring a deck of cards with. My gang always plays card games while we’re there. :)
