Silva Screenprinting & Distribution

Silva Printing was recommended to me and I was excited to meet with them about a fairly large printing partnership — however — when I got there the woman who manages these partnerships and whom I had arranged to meet with over the phone was not available which was odd and highly disappointing (a simple phone call or email to me to let me know she was busy would have been the courteous thing to do before I wasted my drive time and parking fees).
They arranged for me to meet with a young man in the art department who was very nice, however, wasn’t able to answer my questions. Over the course of 10 min it became clear to me that the woman I had arranged to meet with was indeed available but instead was prepping for a more important mtg after mine. The young man would repeatedly go into her office and ask her the questions that I had but he couldn’t answer — why she didn’t have the decency to introduce herself, apologize or give me even 5 minutes is rude, disrespectful of other people’s time and unprofessional.
Finally, she did come out of her hole when a more important client entered and proceeded to tell me to vacate the conference table — unbelievable! Even at that point she didn’t introduce herself — I was so floored at this behavior — I’ve never been treated so rudely and this is my 1^st ever Unilocal post. It pains me to post this about a small business but customer service is critical no matter how large or small a potential client may be…

We received extremely poor customer service here. We asked to see some hats prior to placing an order but they refused to bring the hats in unless they charged us for all of them first. And they neglected to tell us they were going to charge us for the hats until we saw it on the invoice.
