Customer service was bad. I received the wrong order and they didn’t bother fixing it. The woman working was very rude about it as well. Wouldn’t recommend the place.

I want to like this place, but I won’t be back. My tea was delicious. Music was far too loud, and I felt like an inconvenience and unwelcomed by the barista. It’s my first time in here, so no, I didn’t know that the wifi password was written in small letters at the bottom of the Brew Menu. I asked for ice water, and again, it wasn’t met with enthusiasm. On my way out, I decided to return my dishes at the counter(I was a barista for 7 years — I loved it when people brought me their dishes), and upon bringing my dishes to the counter, the barista said, «yeah, just so you know for future reference, we have a dish bin against that wall.» And he wouldn’t take my dishes! So I turned right around, placed the dishes in the bin and left. Spy house is going to have a hard time keeping loyal customers.

I’ll start by saying I REALLY wanted to like this place. I have no problem treating myself to a premium coffee beverage and the overall aesthetic is a 10⁄10! That being said, I’ve found that this Spyhouse location just doesn’t care about the customer. First, the music is SO loud. The first few times, I tried to ignore it; on my third visit here, I finally asked a staff member to turn it down… I’m fairly certain they responded by turning the music up(for sure not down). Overall, I get the vibe that the employees view customers as an inconvenience. Lastly, Stop changing the WiFi password during the day. I’ve lost internet connection two of the last three times I’ve been here(right in the middle of important work conversations). Places to frequent instead: — Moose & Sadies, North Loop — Spyhouse, Northeast — Common Roots, Uptown

I live less than a block away so I am here often. In another review someone said coffee is $ 8.00, Well, this is the North Loop. The music is loud but the staff is super friendly and the quality of the coffee is always consistent. My 9 year old child loves their hot coco, the décor and their wifi. Also, this is a good place to run into people! Glad to have this coffee shop nearby.

I’ve been to Spyhouse 3 times since it opened last week, and am excited to have this coffee shop in the neighborhood. The menu is very similar(if not the exact same) from the Spyhouse Northeast location, and the coffee is also consistent in price and taste. The prices are a little higher than some of the other coffee shops in town, but the space is beautiful and you can use the free wifi. The staff has been very friendly on all my visits. My only gripe is the music is very loud, but I know I’ll still be frequenting this location often.
