I had THEBEST experience with the store manager STEPHANIE when I came in looking for a particular hair piece that I had purchased before at their store and I really wanted the hair for an event that was happening the next day. They did not have the hair piece in stock anymore and after I had exhausted all the other options, Stephanie decided to order the particular piece for me right then and there! I really appreciated all of her help and great customer service! She wanted to make sure I left a happy customer and she did. She ordered the hair piece for me to be delivered the NEXTDAY! She clearly saw that I had my mind set on that particular hair product and understood my disappointment with it being out of stock. I believe she did what ANY manager or sales person should do in a similar situation and execute a SOLUTION to the problem, no questions asked. Love it. Shout out to Stephanie!

I bought a closure from Sunny’s recently that LITERALLY would not dye. My hairstylist dyed the hair 3 times, and it was not until she had to put BLEACH, the absolute worse thing, that we were finally able to lift the hair after all that damage. The hair is advertised as virgin hair which means it should take to color almost instantly. This was nothing close. The hair is so fried now that I am going to have to buy another closure from someplace that has legitimate virgin hair.

Ummm, website says open Saturday until 7 so I drove a looong way to get there… sign on the door says closed at 6! Really really annoying. Change your website!

Went in to check out some summer wigs in hopes I’d find something fun, yet natural looking for those days I’m feeling lazy or want to play with a new look. I don’t know much about fake hair so I was really looking for advice from the sales person helping me. Unfortunately she seemed so disinterested in helping, answering questions, and just being there. After trying on 3 wigs that didn’t look so good and wasting 10−15mins with the sales person who sucked the fun out of the experience I just left. Initially I told myself that I’d just return with a friend who could give advice and help make shopping enjoyable, but as I thought about it I said«fugetaboudit». I’ll just patron another place.

I have been there twice and each time I swear I inconvenience the staff. They are not willing to go out of their way to help, and not in a hurry for anything! Called to see if they had the product I was looking for and I was told yes… However, when I arrived they did not have it in??? Ya pretty much not going back…

I did NOT have a good experience last time I came here to drop way too much money on fake hair. Do NOT purchase Lord and Taylor Extensions from them, especially in red. My month old weave has been shedding all over the place and rats together an hour into wear. It is so irritating as I’m a girl who is very well versed in hair care. I take immaculate care of my extensions and I’ve had weaves last for 6 months beautifully. I will never purchase any line besides REMY from them. I’d much rather dye them demi permanent myself, because whatever processing Lord and Taylor uses absolutely ruins the hair. Wasn’t a big fan of the staff last time I was in either, rushed me right through, didn’t let me look at other options. $ 120 per pop is serious money to me, you can give me 5 minutes for that kind of cash. I learned my lesson the hard way. Disappointing!

First, extensions are extremely popular right now. So you would think that you would have some in stock. Not the case. They didn’t even have any sample colors so that you could order on-line. Staff was polite and helpful, just hard to sell stuff if you don’t have any hair.

I saved myself $ 330 by getting hair from here instead of from the salon doing my extensions. Sunny’s charged me $ 120 whereas the salon was asking for $ 450. Same quality hair(as far as I could tell), and several hundred dollars less. Wow. The staff members I dealt with were a mixed bag. The first time I came in, two very knowledgeable women helped answer my questions and suggested a few things I should ask my stylist about. On the second trip, I had all the details worked out and was ready to make a purchase. The younger lady at the counter ended up finding perfectly matching hair for me, but she wasn’t very articulate. She would hold a sample up to my ponytail, make an indecipherable comment, and move on to the next sample. I had no clue what was going on. But, I ended up with exactly what I needed, so I can’t really complain. Bonus points for getting to watch a drag queen try on wigs and be generally fabulous. Highly recommend.

For those of you that are worried that the name doesn’t say it all… you can put your fears to bed. Sunny’s. Discount. Beauty. Supply. They’ve got wigs, weaves, perms, ponytails, and extensions. Ten points to anyone that can name that tune without google. :) Really though, they’ve got cheap(inexpensive) beauty supplies, including lots of fake hair and chemicals etc. Their target market seems to be hair-people, which I am not. They also have fake purses AND accessories! Discount Beauty Supply, people. Come on.
