Very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly staff. I just went in today to look at some Exuvience products(amazing stuff, btw) and the Esthetician that approached me to see if I needed help(her name is Colleen,) was so helpful, and sweet that I ended booking a facial service with her that same afternoon. So I left there with some Exuvience products and beautiful glowing skin from the Dermalogica facial I recieved from Colleen. Better yet, Colleen is new there so you will receive $ 10 off your first service with her if you get in there soon!

Sucks! They NEVER answer their phone… I wait on hold for at least 5 minutes, the store is trashed(open makeup, testers either nonexistent or smeared all over everything), missing products, things put in the wrong spot). Very few workers are friendly, mostly I feel like I’m an inconvenience.

I must admit that I am pretty impressed with the Salon — they must be running a special in January because a Facial was only $ 30.00 plus you got an additional 10% off everything I bought in the store(which I was there to buy in the first place). The hair stylist who was working on Saturday was a bit rough around the edges but she wasn’t butchering anyone’s hair. This ULTA location seems to have more people working at it which is always my biggest compliaint — the«sporting goods store of women» and there is NEVER anyone around to help you! I give them a thumbs up.

I like Ulta because you can get cheap make up. I like Ulta because they give you coupons in the mail. I like Ulta because their products go on sale, unlike Sephora or MAC. I have to agree with Annie W. though. This place is not like Sephora, but at least products in this store go on sale. My favorite cosmetic line in this store has got to be NYX(especially eye make up!). They’re cheap and if you apply them right, you can get a fabulous look. They have tons of selections and if you get lucky, you can even get them when they’re on sale. Wait a minute. They’re always on sale! Anyway, I give Ulta 4⁄5 because I AM a fan. I’ve never gone to their salon and I probably never will because I KNOW it probably sucks. But at least their products are affordable.

The salon is crazy overpriced and sucky! The pedicure was $ 45PLUS the cost of the nail polish, and the really young woman didn’t put any effort into a foot massage, scrub or painting straight. I was so disappointed that I almost asked for my money back… Instead I decided to vote with the wallet and a Unilocal review. Take that Ulta!

Ulta is half Sephora and half drugstore, but executes neither personalities very well. When I go to Sephora I want to try shit on and splurge on $ 80 dollar mascara. When I go to a drugstore I’m praying for a Buy 2 Get 1 Free Maybelline special. But when I go to Ulta I just get a headache from all the fake tanned girls(honeychild, it’s been winter for the last 4 months, don’t pretend), the confusing convergence of high end makeup and low end hair curlers, and the super young cashiers who look like they should be studying for their SATs not helping me figure out what the hell is wrong with my dry skin.
