Food here was great. I had fried dumplings and some basic sushi and both were some of the better examples I’ve had. Ended on a down note because the waitress was going to every table but mine when I wanted to pay my check.

For whatever reason, they drizzled an obscene amount of spicy mayo on both sushi orders. This took away from the fish. The restaurant itself is kinda quirky: they lined the walls with books on the subject of Japan and Thailand.

This is truly a Hidden Gem. Two of us had two rolls of generous portion and the chicken drunken noodles. All were very delicious and more than enough to have leftovers. Doesn’t look like they get a lot of foot traffic on this Monday evening but it sure is worth it!

I’ve been to quite a few sushi places in the area, so I was expecting it to be more of the same, but while the overall atmosphere was pretty plain, the quality of the food was incredible. I had the lava roll and it’s by far some of the best sushi I’ve had. We also had sake bombs and they were pretty excellent here. Highly recommend. However, this restaurant loses points in regards to the service. The food took a while to arrive and it took a while to be served. I think they’re understaffed, though and in their defense it was a Wednesday night. However, there are travel and cook books on the wall, and we entertained ourselves by reading about Japanese tourist sites while we waited. If you’re in the area and looking for traditional sushi, I definitely recommend.

Came here with a group of 4. The food came out quickly and the service was good. We were the only people in the restaurant though. Food: the beef teriyaki was tough and included pieces of chewy unappetizing fat. Pad Thai was ok. Sushi and tempura appetizers were the best dishes on the table. I did appreciate the presentation of each dish though-orchids are beautiful! 3 stars overall. Probably won’t return in the future. Definitely better Thai food around(i.e. Silver Spoon, Moon Thai).

Second time here. Second time the Pad Thai was disguisting. Tasted like wet dog with chlorine. Everything else we ordered was good but that was just bad and i love pad thai.

Sushi N Thai is what it is. A sushi and Thai restaurant in west Miramar/Pembroke Pines that serves good food without an upscale show. The restaurant is simple and the food is average to slightly above average. The ice tea was mediocre and the service was spotty. The décor is a jumble of Asian themes and neighbourhood hang out. I would really like to give them a 3.5 but there wasn’t anything here that really stood out as memorable. Not bad but I don’t know if you will be running back for a second try.

Wow! Sushi-N-Thai is a hidden gem. I came here with my boyfriend armed with an $ 18 Groupon(which I bought for $ 13.50 thanks to a 25% discount) — $ 30 worth of dinner for two. We ordered exactly $ 30 of food. Our bill was $ 1.80, which is 6% sales tax on $ 30. Of course, we tipped based on the total amount without the Groupon applied($ 31.80). The interior of Sushi-N-Thai is both casual yet nice. Perfect for a date, and the service was great. Another thing worth mentioning is how decent the prices(and portions) are. I ordered their Special Fried Rice($ 14). It was enough for two meals. My boyfriend ordered a California Roll($ 6) and Rainbow Roll($ 10). Each roll had ten pieces of sushi. So for $ 16, that’s 20 pieces of sushi! I’ve been to other sushi places where they charge $ 10 for six pieces, or $ 16 for 12 pieces, etc. Way to go, Sushi-N-Thai! Delicious sushi for an affordable price. Sushi-N-Thai has become my new ‘spot.’ I will definitely be returning, I highly recommend this place — you won’t be disappointed!

Came here with a Groupon and the food was really good. We ordered Thai Chicken Wings which were really good, I had the Volcano Roll that was really amazing, my wife had the Teriyaki Chicken which was good too and my daughter had the Pad Thai Chicken which was excellent. The staff was a little too friendly though. My wife’s chicken came out about 10 minutes after we had our food.

I don’t know if I just came on a «bad day» buuuttt WHATAWFULSERVICE. Like, I don’t think I’ve had such awful service before. Our waitress was usually no where to be found, I just sat there loudly slurping my empty glass of what was once water 20 minutes ago(which was only refilled once, I drink a ton of water, usually go through about 4 glasses). and not to mention my boyfriends obviously empty glass of soda, never got a refil the whole over an hour we were sitting there. I don’t even want to calculate the time accurately because a majority of the time was just us painfully sitting there for our food to be brought out… which was brought out at random times. We ordered a miso soup each to start off with… a dragon roll each, a spicy tuna roll for me and a volcano roll for my gentleman… was all for the entrée of course, we are overworked hungry people haha. The dragon roll was sent out first, surprised that the miso soup wasn’t sent out first, but we chowed down. Then what felt like 35 minutes later was my boyfriends volcano roll on the table, where the hell is my roll? Then the waitress, never refilling any of our drinks offered us the check. UMHELLO, WHERE’S THEOTHERHALFOFOURORDER? We had to remind her what was left… which then we got our miso soup 10 minutes later, and never got my spicy tuna roll until we where ready to leave. No thanks, not coming back. Awful experience.

Not their biggest fan and probably won’t ever return. I came here on a Saturday night and was quite surprised at how dead it was inside. Their décor is intimate and relaxing, but that’s really it. Their rolls were rather on the expensive side, I figured the role must be good if they are pricey. Wrong. I completely forgot which roll I ordered because that’s how unimpressed I was. My roll was small, not to mention flavorless. I was very excited to have left this place and vow never to come back. Please, I implore you, if you want good sushi in this area, your best bet is to check out silver spoon. You’ll thank me later.

Favorite go to sushi spot with my boyfriend. We absolutely love this place. Food is great and service is amazing. You’re even greeted with warm hand towels once you sit down. $ 8 sake bottles! Everything is just so good! Brian is the best ever!!!

It pains me to write a negative review on a ‘nice’ little restaurant and especially one for a sushi place… but as you know, I’m a huge sushi fan, so here we go. I ventured down to Miramar for my birthday and was more than excited(and starving) to try out this sushi place. The waitress told us to sit anywhere, so we sat at a booth near the window. When I saw back towards the bathrooms that they had ‘curtained’ booths, I really wish I had the option of sitting there with my group(because hey, it’s my birthday and I felt special.) The waitress kept things simple, not really up for pleasantries, and went about her work day. We were 1 of 2 tables in the entire restaurant, so we figured the food would arrive quickly. Our meals were presented in a scattered way; appetizers came out with entrees, side dishes arrived after all of that, and even one of our orders didn’t come out at all. We brought this to the waitresses attention and she assured us it was coming, but I told my sister, «I think she forgot about your order.» Sure enough, 15 minutes later and her food arrived — except it was THEWRONG item. I wanted to mention that the sushi and sashimi wasn’t even the slightest bit cold — it tasted beyond room temperature warm. :( Sorry all, but THIS is where I started to get really sad. I love sushi/sashimi/Japanese food and this place just BLEW their chance! Luckily, the waitress took my sisters’ food off the bill due to her mistake(and that was very kind of her) but everyone else in my group agreed: this place isn’t worth a second visit.

My family loves this place. It’s definitely our go-to spot when no one wants to cook or clean. The staff are so awesome and the ambiance is chill. Perfect for date or family night. We’ve tried so many different dishes and all have been satisfyingly good. Love the panag.

This is a MUST try if you’re in the Pines area. MY Go TO Dish is the Salmon Teriyaki. Who doesn’t love supporting an underdog? this is a family run business that truly cares about customer satisfaction. They also offer late night delivery. by Miramar standards, late means 10PM! try the Thai Iced tea. Yum, Yum! They’re very easy to find in a plaza near Publix.

Tucked away in an inconspicuous spot in Miramar, right by a Monster Mini Golf, this little piece of sushi oasis is definitely worth visiting if you are hanging out in the area.

After avoiding a near debacle at a wonderful Elite event due to my forgetting to take along some necessary meds and also neglecting to eat something substantial before drinking I had to bow out to find something to balance my health. My companion and I considered something closer to where I live as we both are fond of several restaurants that abound on Federal but she was concerned I better get something to eat right away. Next to Monster Mini Golf in the Miramar Plaza is a convenient and quaint little Thai/Sushi restaurant called… Sushi N Thai. The interior was clean and inviting and there were a few couples there, although after we sat down a few more showed up — which was an impressive gathering for a small mall restaurant on a Tuesday night. After eating the food — we knew why! I don’t know if it’s because(well for me) it is an «out-of-the-way» locale(it certainly wouldn’t be for Miramar residents or even not too far a stretch from either Pembroke Pines or Miami Lakes), which I doubt or simply their individualized attention to both plates and customers, but this was a five-star find that was a blessing in disguise; I might have been missing out on one of the funner Unilocal Elite events, but I was forgiven by the Heavens by landing in this delicious little hideaway. My companion and I shared crab Rangoon and then I went for a spicy salmon roll while she had a crunchy tuna roll with avocado. This food was so good that after these three appetizers I was full! Now, granted, I wasn’t sitting down with my usual appetite and we initially chose this spot to eat at for more potential medicinal purposes, but this food is medicine for the soul! Extremely fresh, huge portions and each bite as delicious as the last — in fact their food is downright addictive. After what was, IMHO, a culinary debacle earlier last week using a Groupon at a more well established Thai restaurant in Wilton Manors this was a truly welcome discovery by comparison; friendly staff, minimal wait time and certainly genuinely delicious ample portions of fresh food. I’m just right now conniving ways of how to convince friends to take me to Miramar so I can come back! And I, after all, certainly owe Monster Golf another appointment!

Excellent food, friendly service, and a quick walk from the nearby hotels if you’re in the mood for Thai or sushi. I had a piece of the conch sushi just to try it and it was interesting and tasty. It tasted like shrimp but a little sweeter. I’ve had conch many times but never before in sushi form. As for the main course, I had the shrimp in basil sauce with onion, peppers, and carrots. It was a large serving with lots of shrimp and was hot and fresh. It had a little kick but wasn’t too spicy. It comes with a big side of rice and I somehow managed to eat my dinner with the chopsticks not a fork. This place is one of those hidden gems that is in the middle of a strip mall. It’s small and no frills but has a full sushi bar and they’ve done a good making this place look like an Asian restaurant and not a little strip mall shop. I was very impressed and would come back if I’m back in the area.

Came with my family to celebrate. They offered us private seating when we made the reservation. REALLY cool. The back hallway has three«rooms» curtained off. They gave us the room with a tv. I think their cable comes from an antenna. So even more basic than basic cable. Still, a really cool unique experience for us. Our server, Bryan, was excellent. He checked on us often. He was friendly & attentive. The food was pretty solid. I was able to try the duck, squid salad, three friends roll, & volcano roll(?). I liked the squid & the three friends roll. Three friends & volcano are riceless rolls. Cool for those of us trying to cut down on carb intake. We ordered cake & thai donuts for dessert. They were kind enough to put a candle on the cake when I mentioned we were celebrating a birthday. Those thai donuts were YUMMY!
