I have trained with many celeb personal trainers(ones who trained Victoria’s Secret models, Kate Upton, etc.) in LA. However, they will charge you hundreds of $$ per session but will not explain you a thing about mechanism behind certain exercise. They did not even care about what kind of workout goal you have. Often times, many of them will just ask you to follow certain movement they do, give fake compliment to you, then disappear once the session time is over. To them, I felt like I was just a good source of $$ to them. I started working out with Ryan after a friend’s referral about a year ago. One thing I was surprised after my first session with him was that he will mix/combine various methods(which made the training less boring) and would actually explain each even before I asked him! He not only cares about your workout and nutrition, but also pays attention to your sleeping routine and stress level – in other words, your overall life style! My body went through amazing transformation after working out him for about a year. Try him. Set your workout goal with Ryan or let him know what health goal you have. He will make it happen!

Ryan is an amazing trainer and I would not want to train with anyone else! I feel motivated and energized throughout my entire day after doing my routine morning exercise with him. If I had not found Ryan, I would not be in shape and as fit as I am today. He is extremely educated in fitness and nutrition and is always pushing me and my other work out buddies to do our best. We change fitness and nutrition goals through phases, which really helps my body stay on track. Rise Fitness and Performance truly is one of a kind. Amazing trainer! I used to do personal training with Ryan until I moved out of state. Unfortunately I have yet to find anyone as good as him. He is very educated in what he teaches and the proof is in the results. I have bounced around from different diets, but Ryan coached me on how to eat based on my lifestyle. I was really shocked at my fat loss results and how quickly I was able to tone up. I used to feel very self conscious of working out in front of anyone since I was so clueless, but Ryan really gave me the confidence in what I was doing and I have been able to keep all the weight off since.

If your goal is to live a healthier lifestyle then you must start by signing up to Rise Performance. Ryan is great teacher and motivator and will help you lead you to the results that you want to achieve. He does a good job in teaching and explaining to you each exercise. I have been training with Ryan for almost six months and I am seeing results that I was never able to see by working out on my own. Ryan will put you on a training program and will offer tips on how to better control your eating habits. Goals can only be achieved if you are willing to put in the hard work and Ryan is there every step of the way to make sure you reach that goal. I believe in results and that’s why I believe in Ryan. Ryan is your go-to guy when it comes to health and fitness related topics. Whatever your goals are he will help coach you towards them. Whether your an average person, elite trainer/althlete, he will help you build the results you want. Ryan much like the name of his gym is on the Rise. I personally have been trained and coached by Ryan for years. Ryan has helped me develop specific goals related to my needs and clients. I enjoy the fact that when I train with him I know that I will maximize efforts. Things to look for when working with Ryan: less injuries, functional-training, weight-loss, strength and conditioning, individual/group training, sport-specific training, corrective exercises, and most importantly results. Ryan coached me for over a year, and I have nothing but great things to say! Most importantly, he is very knowledgeable about training techniques. From weights to cardio circuits, Ryan knows proper form/technique, appropriate training zones, and what exercises to do to achieve his clients’ goals. He also knows how to tailor exercises for individual clients. Whether you’re a hardcore gym rat or only work out sparingly, he will modify exercises to fit your current strength/conditioning and fitness goals. Last, Ryan is a fun and motivating person. First of all I’d like to note that this is my second review I’ve written as I only write a review when I’m very satisfied with a product or service. I’m very picky when it comes to choosing a personal trainer. When I first met Ryan I didn’t have any expectations. In fact, I was going to do my regular routine: a few minutes of cardio and then weights. I knew exactly what I wanted to achieve, but still wasn’t sure HOW to achieve it. Having worked with other trainers, I still couldn’t do some exercises properly. It’s a bit frasturating when you know you aren’t doing it right, but your trainer says that everything is great. This wasn’t the case with Ryan. I finally learned how to do deadlifts and squats the right way. I know some people might find it easy, but I was really struggling. Ryan didn’t just explain and show the exercises I asked about. But he also asked about my fitness goals and came up with the exercises that would help me archive my goals, encouraging along the way(when you’re working hard you do need the encouragement, trust me :)) I started seeing result after my 3rd session. That’s when I realized how much time I’ve been wasting before doing the exercises wrong. Though I no longer work out with Ryan, I still remember his tips on certain exercises that help me everyday at the gym. If you’re serious about getting in shape or sustaining your current shape then you should definitely try working out with Ryan. In addition to being great at what he does, Ryan is fun and super nice guy, which makes your time spent at the gym more pleasant. Highly recommend!

Overall great training! What I love most about Rise Performance is that its very systematic. The training always keeps your body evolving, not only in a strength perspective but also in functionality in your body that youve lost over time. It blew my mind to see how much mobility I had lost over the years of continuing bad habits and weight training without a professional guiding my workouts. Slowly I have regained not only strength but also mobility and flexibility. The nutritional aspect was a thing I needed the most help with and its made such an impact because it all works together with the training program, your body will ask you for the right foods. Ive had a ton of success so far and im sure you will too. I would and have definitely recommended this to others.
