Why can’t we give less than one star? We ordered flowers for a funeral from the florist. My aunt who ordered, use to work for a florist and knows the industry well. We paid for a large arrangement to drap the casket. Well they get one star for delivering the flowers on time. However, it was a pathetic arrangement that was nothing like the photo they advertised. It was embarrassing for our family and an insult to my aunt. We called the manager at Broadway who was rude and refused to do anything. She said I can have someone pick up the arrangement and take it away… not offering a discount or refund. Of course we had guest coming and had to take care of this ourselves. We ran out and spent more than $ 100 on flowers to spruce up this pathetic arrangement. We called afterwards to get some kind of compensation and none offered. Just a rude response from the manager, who also liked to American Express and said that she offered a refund. I definitely recommend you say away from this florist.

I placed an order for my mother’s funeral on a Sunday afternoon, which was kindly accepted. On Monday, 1 hour before the service was to begin, I received an abrasive call from Bob. He told me «sorry, too late to fill the order, nothing will be delivered». He had the gall to say«they [the 2 local flowers he claimed to have called] don’t have time to deliver a plant!!! «You can imagine how devastated we were. I followed up with the 2 florists the next day and neither received a call. I called customer service a week later and spoke with the infamous Bob(claims to be the owner). He YELLED at me, told me to «go to hell» several times, accused me of cussing at him, and said I had anger issues and needed to never call them again and take my complaints elsewhere. He also threw in there«and I’m not sending you flowers». 1. I never yelled. 2. I never cussed 3. I never asked for flowers. How someone can be so crass, rude, and insensitive is beyond me. I wish I had the power to shut them down. Believe me, this«review» isn’t the end of it. Bob must not have a mother!!!

Zero stars(if Unilocal did zero stars). Placed an order for Mother’s Day delivery, they guaranteed delivery on Mother’s Day. When flowers didn’t arrive as promised, I called on Sunday and after being on hold for 30 minutes, I spoke with their answering service, they called me the next morning at 7am, I was asleep and they didn’t even leave a message. I called them back at 11am, waited on hold a half and hour and got their«answering service» again, their operator explained that she couldn’t access my account, but her supervised could if I would hold for 15 more minutes. I waited the additional 15 minutes and then spoke to a supervisor who talked over me, and then explained that she couldn’t access my order information either and that her associate didn’t know what she was talking about. I explained to her that I wanted to hear from an associate that day, but because I work nights, I would appreciate it if they had to call me the next day, if it was after 10am my time. Cut to the next day, my phone rings at 7:45 am and it’s a person claiming to be the owner, Bob Neil. He explains that they have cancelled my order because(in his words) I made his operator cry.(She wasn’t crying when she was talking down to me). So here I am, I have no flowers delivered to my sister, they still have my money, and they refuse to help me. I’m not sure if they know what«guaranteed delivery» means, but I’m pretty certain it doesn’t mean«no flowers, no refund, no service. This business is absolutely terrible, I wouldn’t use them to send flowers to my worst enemy.
