After Unilocaling salons in South OC area, came across great reviews and photos of Maygin’s work she does at Illusions Salon. Decided to schedule an appointment with her and so glad I did! She is an amazing artist, took her time, and very detailed. Not to mention a positive attitude to match. I keep my hair in a layered, short bob which other stylists I’ve gone to in the past have butchered. Will be sticking with Maygin as long as she’s in town!

Went to Maygin when I was considering (for the first time ever) cutting major length off my hair. Maygin was amazing. I didn’t even tell her what I wanted. She just did her magic and I could not be happier. I have really thick hair and she got a lot of weight off. I now have great layers and body without a huge pouf! L O V E L O V E L O V E ! ! !

Maygin is amazing! I’ve been going to her for 3 years and I’ve never been more happy with my hair! I always get a cut and color and it looks awesome every time :) She finally got herself her own little suite at Phenix Salon Suites, so go check her out! It’s next to the Buffalo Wild Wings.

Ask for Maygin. By far the best hairstylist that I have found. Look no further for an amazing hairstylist!
She has a true gift and an eye for color! She has been cutting and coloring my hair for about 5 years, each time is a WOW moment for me. Agree with some of the other Unilocalers with her attention, compassion, heart, and most of all listening along with suggesting.
Always a pleasure to visit Maygin and thank you for years of wonderful service.
The location is great, staff seem to always be smiling and overall a great experience. Will be visiting for many many years to come.

Got my hair did for the summer by Maygin. Was a little apprehensive at first considering it was the first time I was getting it dyed and especially because I’m a dude!. Turned out better than I had even thought it would. Highly recommend. If your looking to have your precious head of hair in the hands of a master crafter, make the wise decision and choose Maygin, you won’t be disappointed — I know I wasn’t.

Maygin Rye is a very talented stylist. My hair color and style choice is unique and fun. Maygin helped me to make my ideas become an actual hair style. I LOVE IT!
In the past I would always change my hair color and style but I have enjoyed Maygin’s work so much that I have kept the same style since September.
Additionally, Maygin is always a positive, friendly person and I enjoy our time together.
She also cuts my kids’ hair and is very patient with both of them and does a fantastic job. We all love Maygin!
