They are the nicest ladies that work here! I got both my girls hand and foot prints done, at different times, and both came out beautiful! When I convince my husband to have more babies we will be back!

Some of my most precious keepsakes of my Grand Daughter are in the form of hand and foot prints. In addition I have a giant one with her hand and foot print and my hand and her Papa’s Hand print that I will cherish forever. I just love the work that Elsie does. Her hand and foot prints for babies are just adorable. She custom makes each one to your liking. I had my two kids get their prints years ago and I still have them. Quickly, get them done for your baby grows up. It’s a wonderful keepsake for life and it’s totally affordable. I’m going to get my dogs prints as well!

I found out about Precious Hand & Footprints because I purchased a LivingSocial deal. I brought my nieces to get a plate done for mother’s day. I loved how it came out and my sister loved it too! I’ve been giving Precious Hand & Footprints gift certificates for years as baby gifts and all my friends love them. It’s such a unique keepsake that lasts a lifetime. I’ve even had my grandparents handprints done here. Elsie is so talented and accommodating. You will not be disappointed.

This place is AWESOME!!! Elsie (owner) has been doing my plates for the past 7 years for my 7 and 3 year old girls. We have some hanging in their rooms and little mini’s for the christmas tree. The girls look forward to finding theirs to hang on the tree each year. My little one still asks us to lift her up so she can put her hands and feet up next to the plate in her room. Nothing cuter than little hands and feet and they are by far the most beautiful I’ve seen!!!
I’m an happy to say that over the years Elsie and I have become friends as i am also a vendor for the hospital events. She is probably the nicest person I know and I always look forward to events where I can see her. I couldn’t do her job if I tried. Her artistic and creative skills and AMAZING and her heart is the biggest I know. There is no way I could do imprints for children in the hospital who are minutes from passing on. But she gives parents a gift they can treasure forever, even though it pains her so much and is impounded in her head forever.
The person who wrote such a negative review is obviously a very negative person. But every business gets a customer like this at some point. I have never heard a negative comment about Elsie before and she has been doing this for almost 20 years so hope that tells you something. Oh and Mission Hospital LOVES her! If they were getting a bunch of garbage comments about her like this then for sure they would cut ties. This lady also says the $ 50 gift certificate doesn’t get you anything so you had to pay? Really? Humm… that’s weird because I have purchased several things from there that are under $ 50. Plus if she came in the summer, she sure didn’t work with Elsie, because she was on medical leave for 4 months. Perhaps her assistant was overwhelmed and a little behind but I highly doubt any rudeness from her. She is wonderful as well.
Anyways, I HIGHLY recommend Precious Hand and Footprints for your newborn or older kid plates. I’m actually going in during the fall so we can make a Santa cookie plate, I meant to do it last year but totally forgot.

Just because we live in the OC doesn’t mean every business has to be glitzy (I don’t care if it’s old), I brought my son 10 years ago and now had my baby girls hand and foot print done on a ballerina dress! Every piece I’ve gotten from here was absolutly beautiful!
Elsie has much talent and if I was in her shoes I’d be shaking not to mess up those precious memories, but she is very good at what she does and I’ll take a free $ 50 gift certificate to this place anytime!

Elsie is an artist! My daughters hand and footprint plate and ornaments came out beautiful I couldnt be more happy with the results. I cant wait till my husband comes home from deployment so that we can do a family plate. Definitely recommend for a keepsake that you will treasure forever!

I have twin girls and since they are growing so fast, it was very important to us to find a great place to get hand /​footprint impressions in Orange County. I did a lot of research to find the perfect place and after many recommendations, I found Precious Hand /​Footprints in Mission Viejo.
I could not have been more pleased! The owner was amazing from the first phone call, to arriving, to answering all our questions, and helping us create the perfect ceramic plate for twins.

I love this place! We have been getting our daughter’s handprint here every year. She is 5 now, so we have a string of handprints hanging on our wall. I would never go anywhere else! Elsie is very helpful. It does take a long time to get it back, but what’s the rush? Once you go here, it’s a life long commitment!

Wow, I’m not sure where that other poster went, but it certainly wasn’t the Precious Hand Footprints I’ve been going to for the last 4 years. I’ve had numerous hand and footprints done for all 3 kids, and I’ve never had anything but a very positive experience here. I found this place through Saddleback Hospital. The hours are limited and mostly by appointment, but as a working mom, I’ve never had problem since she’s open for most Saturdays and on more than one occasion she has remained open for me to come by later than her usual hours. The owner is very accommodating.
Elsie is very creative her designs are fabulous — you can tell she’s been doing this a long time. Every time I go in there she has something new. My son actually was one of the first to do the little foot imprint bowl this past year. I just picked it up and it is so beautiful. I can’t thank Elsie enough for making this for him — it’s soooooooo incredibly perfect!
Yeah, like someone else said it takes a long time. Approx 10 weeks, but perfection is worth it, isn’t it? I’ll have these the rest of my life, so the wait is small compared to that. I could go to Color Me Mine like the other said, but then my keepsake would look like I painted it myself and I wouldn’t have all of Elsie’s beautiful designs available to me. I think you always get what you pay for.
I can’t wait to have baby #4 whenever that is, because I’ll be able to come back here again for newborn foot and hand prints! See you soon!

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Let me start this review by clarifying that the only reason we went here is because we won a gift certificate from Mission Hospital at the maternity open house. REALLY MISSION HOSPITAL-​YOU RECOMMEND THESE GUYS?
So we won a $ 50 gift certificate which of course got us absolutely nothing so we had to pay for the simple imprint that we wanted. Not a problem-​we wanted a nice one to remember how small our son was. The shop is in a 1970’s strip mall which should have been our first clue to run. Our next clue that this was going downhill fast should have been the odd store hours. If you work normal business hours you will never be able to come here. Nonetheless we take our son’s hand and foot prints and are informed that it will take 10 weeks. 10 WEEKS TO FIRE THIS IN A KILM? Here is a clue to all of your non-​artsy people: they get a bunch of suckers to pay their exorbitant fees and when they have just enough people they take it over the kilm at once and pay a one time fee. Again, not really a huge deal-​we were in no rush to get it right away.
10 weeks come and go so I call to inquire about my son’s impression only to be asked if I had my receipt. Well I obviously have my receipt since I know the date it would be ready. I believe it was the owner (who shall remain nameless because you know who you are) who informed is that they were only a week over promised and that there was no need to call. Normally a conversation like this would not bother me except the lady who called was so rude and condescending to us that I wanted to jump through the phone and smack her. There was no apology for the delay and zero business sense. We are customers paying for your service. There is no need to be a smartass to me. A simple «It is taking longer than expected-​I am sorry» would have been adequate. Just for fun, my husband called back everyday thereafter to inquire when the imprint would be ready. What comes around goes around.
The only positive thing I have to say is that the imprint came out cute. However, if you want imprints I would suggest Color Me Mine-​they gave it back to you within 24 hours and you don’t have to deal with rudeness when you are a customer.
Mission Hopsital: I suggest you remove them from your vendors at the Maternity Open House. Everything else associated with your name is top notch.
